Three giant candies sit beside the Halloween event merchant in town, each locked behind a matching key. A Red Halloween Candy needs a Red Candy Key, Yellow needs a Yellow Candy Key, and Blue needs a Blue Candy Key. Those keys are not sold for Pumpkin Coins. You build them from Candy Key Fragments earned inside dungeons, combine them through Substance Morph, then walk up to the candy and open it.

Quick answer: Collect 60 Candy Key Fragments from Expedition Conquest or Transcendence dungeons, open Substance Morph, go to the Event tab, and morph them into one Red, Yellow, or Blue Candy Key. Each color can be crafted once per week per server.

What each candy color gives you

Opening a candy hands you every item in its bundle at once. All three colors include 5 Halloween Candies and 5 Halloween Cookies on top of the color-specific loot below.

CandyColor-specific rewardsBest for
Red20 Growth Pet Chests, 10 Battle Enhance ScrollsPet progression and combat scrolls
Yellow10,000 Abyss Points, 10 Life CrystalsPvP and Stigma Shard progress
Blue4 Odyle Energy, 10 Resurrection SpiritstonesMore dungeon runs and revival stock

With a full 60-fragment stack you can only make one key at a time, so pick the color that fixes your current shortage. Blue restores Odyle Energy, which fuels the very dungeon runs that drop more fragments, making it a sensible first craft if you are low on energy. Yellow’s 10,000 Abyss Points matter most to anyone pushing endgame PvP gear at level 45. Red leans toward pet growth.

Fragments also feed an unlimited recipe that turns one fragment into ten Superior Power Shards. Avoid triggering that by accident if you are saving a stack for a key, since 60 fragments is a full key’s worth of material.

Where Candy Key Fragments drop

Candy Key Fragments come from completing Expedition Conquest runs and Transcendence dungeons, then collecting the reward Cube at the end. An Expedition Conquest run yields around 6 fragments for roughly 80 Odyle Energy, so a single 60-fragment key takes about ten clears. Check the dungeon’s reward list before you queue, and make sure you actually collect the Cube when you finish.

Deus Research Base is the Transcendence option, while Fire Temple, Ferocious Horn Den, Krao Cave, Uruguyu Canyon, and Vekron Sky Island cover the Expedition Conquest side. Running these also clears the weekly Transcendence and Expedition Pumpkin Coin missions, so you earn on both event tracks from one run.

The Conquest dungeons run on a 60-minute time limit. The Transcendence dungeons scale across four stages with required gear scores of 1,600, 1,900, 2,200, and 2,500.

Craft a key in Substance Morph

Once you hold at least 60 Candy Key Fragments, press Esc to open the main menu and select Substance Morph.

Pick the color you want and press Morph. The recipe consumes 60 fragments at a 100% success rate and returns one key. Each color is capped at one craft per server each week, with the limit resetting every Wednesday at 09:00.

Open the candy in town

Keep the finished key in your inventory and head to the Halloween event area beside the Coin Merchant. Elyos players find it in Verteron at Dawn Legion Base or Zumion Village. Asmodians use Altgard at Safe Haven or Nornir Assembly. The three giant candies stand next to the merchant.

Walk up to the candy whose color matches your key and press the Interact prompt. A Blue Candy Key opens the Blue Halloween Candy, and so on. The candy opens and drops its full reward bundle straight into your inventory, which confirms the key worked. If the candy shows a prompt asking for its key instead, you are either missing the right color or standing at the wrong one.

The Halloween event ends ahead of maintenance on November 4, 2026. Craft the keys you need and open all candy before maintenance in your region, because access afterward is not assured. To get all three bundles in one week, budget for the combined 180-fragment cost.
