Polaris Patrol is a Season 11 Operations mode in Delta Force that lets you take the Polaris side in Space City, playing as Security Director Anais Desmoulins or one of her two Adjutants. Instead of fighting Desmoulins as a boss, you deploy her neural-controlled combat vehicle, coordinate with guards, and race to a dedicated extraction that regular GTI operators can also hijack if they take you down.

Quick answer: Unlock Desmoulins through her File missions, enter Polaris Patrol on Space City with a Director’s badge, deploy the Requin vehicle, collect 5 dog tags, and extract from the special point to clear the run.

What Polaris Patrol is and how to get in

Polaris Patrol runs as an extraction match set on Space City. One side fields Desmoulins and her guard squad with heavy tools and special map access, while everyone else enters as standard GTI operators. Both sides earn Performance Points by defeating members of the opposing team, which feeds into the event rewards.

Before choosing Desmoulins, finish her prerequisite File missions by meeting the required Operations level and completing enough mission chapters. Playing her also uses up a Security Director’s Work Badge, available for purchase in the Department area. Guards can enter without a badge, but only by joining a squad with someone playing Desmoulins.

  • Mode: Polaris Patrol (Operations, boss play) on Space City
  • Playable roles: Desmoulins, Heavy Guard, Comms Guard
  • Desmoulins requires completing her File missions and spending a Director’s badge
  • Guards play for free but must team with a Desmoulins player

The release date, map rotation, entry costs, and unlock requirements can shift with the live build, so confirm the current values in-game before building a fixed routine around them.

Desmoulins abilities and the Requin vehicle

Desmoulins is built around her Neural-Controlled Vehicle, the Requin. It is a remotely deployed combat chariot armed with a turret and grenade launcher, and it also carries her threat-imaging and seeker-bomb modules. You can control it directly through a neural link, turning it into a mobile weapons platform rather than simple transport.

That power comes with a clear risk. If the Requin is destroyed, the neural link feeds significant damage back to Desmoulins and reveals her exact position to enemies. Sending it into a fight without squad support can turn a strong position into an exposed one.

Her Threat Imaging System scans and marks nearby enemies, syncing their positions to the whole squad. While it is active, firearm handling and aim-down-sights movement speed improve, and in chariot mode the vehicle weapons can lock onto and track marked targets. The Seeker Bomb Vehicle throws out a self-advancing ground drone that hunts a detected enemy, chases it, and detonates after a short delay.

Her passive, Weakness Analysis, punishes anyone she hits. Affected targets repair armor and use medical items more slowly, and if they are downed, their bleed-out speed rises while their crawl speed drops. The lesson is to keep pressure on a wounded enemy rather than letting them reset.

Heavy Guard and Comms Guard roles

The two Adjutant roles supply the squad with vision control and enemy detection, and their key trick is attaching gear directly to the Requin to carry an explosive or scanning threat closer to the enemy.

Heavy Guard

The Heavy Guard plants a remote-detonated bomb that can also be stuck onto the combat vehicle, letting the squad drive an explosive into a defended position. A smoke grenade launcher blocks sightlines quickly, which is most useful when it covers a revive, a rotation, or a vehicle push.

Comms Guard

The Comms Guard fires a flare that hovers and periodically scans for enemy operators, marking them for the squad. The flare can attach to the Requin to scan around it on the move. Its airburst grenade launcher detonates over a target area, making it effective against players tucked behind cover.

Both guards share the Haavk Elite passive. It lets the squad drag a downed teammate to cover while reviving, and it grants an Adjutant a brief movement-speed boost when they are near Desmoulins or the Requin as she or the vehicle deals direct damage to an enemy operator.

Space City elevator and the 5 dog tag extraction

The Polaris squad gets a one-way executive elevator in the garden area that travels straight up to the CEO office. It only goes up and cannot bring you back down, so it works as a fast rotation into the executive floor rather than an escape route.

Extraction runs on dog tags. The squad collects 5 dog tags during the match and submits them to a laptop terminal in the extraction room near the bridge, in the launch area. Once submitted, the Desmoulins extraction point opens with a 30-second countdown, and up to three players can leave through it.

GTI operators have a counter to all of this. If they kill Desmoulins, they can loot her golden keycard, use the same garden elevator, and extract from the same terminal. The difference is timing: a standard operator taking that exit waits a 5-minute countdown instead of the 30 seconds the Polaris squad gets.

Polaris Patrol rewards: figurines and the M700 Serenity skin

Opening Director’s Commendation Crates yields two lore collectibles: a Desmy chibi figurine and a Requin Model combat drone. Both are difficult to find, and Haavk employees who own the set display it as a sign of seniority.

Combining the two in the stash crafts the Desmy – Requin Model, an interactive display collectible with its own inspection animation that seats the Director atop her vehicle.

Leveling up through the event hands out the M700 Legendary Weapon Appearance – Serenity, a white-and-blue skin for the M700 sniper rifle that is claimed for free by playing Polaris Patrol.

Between the playable boss, the Requin platform, the guard synergies, and the keycard counter-play for GTI operators, Polaris Patrol reworks a familiar Space City fight into a two-sided extraction race. Whether you run with Desmoulins or hunt her, the dog tags, the garden elevator, and the extraction timer decide who walks away with the win.
