Bread and Bun is a short Wandering Tale in Where Winds Meet, filed under Greenshade Village Part 4 in the Qingzhou region. The whole thing plays out inside the Everbloom Bazaar, where two food vendors have been quietly sampling each other’s cooking. You act as the go-between, carrying a steamed bun and a flatbread back and forth until the pair finally face off.
Quick answer: Talk to Zhang Xu at the flatbread stall to collect the Steamed Bun, hand it to Hao Zhiwei for the Stolen Flatbread, return that to Zhang Xu, then follow him back to Hao Zhiwei’s cart to trigger the argument and finish the tale.
Bread and Bun rewards and location
The tale begins and ends in the Everbloom Bazaar, which some local map markers also label as the Qingzhou Bazaar, within Greenshade Village. The closest fast-travel point is Sageplow Stead, a short run north-west of the stalls. Finishing the tale pays out the following.

How to complete Bread and Bun
Every step happens between two stalls on opposite sides of the same bazaar road, so there is no combat and no travel beyond the market itself.
Open the Qingzhou world map and set a waypoint on Everbloom Bazaar in Greenshade Village. Fast travel to Sageplow Stead, then cross the river and follow the path down to the flatbread stall.

Approach Zhang Xu at the flatbread stall and press the F interact prompt to speak with him. He is muttering to himself about something that has gone missing, which starts the tale.
Finish the conversation to receive the Steamed Bun. Zhang Xu found it left behind at his stall and wants to know where it came from, so he hands it over to you.
Cross the bazaar road to Hao Zhiwei, the bun vendor working from a wooden wheelbarrow cart under a parasol. Open the submit menu and hand over the Steamed Bun.
Hear Hao Zhiwei out. He admits both vendors have been taking each other’s food to study the recipes, and he gives you the Stolen Flatbread to return to Zhang Xu.
Sprint back over the road and hand the Stolen Flatbread to Zhang Xu. He identifies it as his, realizes Hao Zhiwei took it, and rushes off to confront him.
Go after Zhang Xu to Hao Zhiwei’s cart and watch them dispute their recipes. When their exchange ends, the tale is resolved and you have nothing else to do.
Confirming the tale is complete
You will see the on-screen banner reading “Wandering Tales: Bread and Bun Completed” the moment the confrontation ends, along with the reward payout. To double-check, open the Exploration menu and look under Greenshade Village Part 4, where Bread and Bun will now be marked as Completed.
