Epoch Operation: Taubound is a community event held once, helping drive Warframe’s progress toward the Tau System. While it is active, Infested enemies on Eris can drop Moonflesh, a new resource you can trade to the Sentient mothership Praghasa for armor, cosmetics, Archon Shards, and a Legendary Core.
Quick answer: Kill Infested on Eris to collect Moonflesh (2 per drop, 3 on Steel Path), run the Moonflesh Locus Alerts for 50 extra (75 on Steel Path), then spend it at Praghasa before the event ends on November 17.
Access requirement and how long you have
Completing Vor’s Prize is the only prerequisite for joining in. The event waives the usual Star Chart and Junction conditions for reaching Eris, letting new and returning players head there directly. These missions use your Warframe. Piloting your Vessel takes place in a different, permanent quest called Tau Prologue, which has no link to Moonflesh rewards.
The event began October 15 and runs for one month, closing on November 17 at 11:00 am EST. It is being treated as an “Epoch” Operation with no reruns, meaning Praghasa’s rewards and her daily dialogue will not come back after that date. No post-event exchange for leftover Moonflesh has been announced, so spend everything you gather before the deadline rather than stockpiling it.
How to farm Moonflesh on Eris
Any Infested enemy on Eris can drop Moonflesh when killed, with the exception of small maggot summons. Each kill yields 2 Moonflesh on normal difficulty and 3 on Steel Path. The resource auto-marks on the map when it drops, and the pickup is shared with the whole squad, so one player grabbing a drop credits everyone.
Resource Boosters, Drop Chance Boosters, and pilfering abilities such as Desecrate do not increase Moonflesh drops, as is standard for event currencies. Zabala is a Dark Sector node with a 30 percent resource drop bonus, but whether that bonus applies to Moonflesh is not confirmed. Because yields scale with enemy density, dense Infested missions remain the most reliable source regardless.
Moonflesh Locus Alerts
Special Alerts cycle onto Eris from time to time, awarding a fixed 50 Moonflesh for completion (75 on Steel Path), in addition to drops from the Infested Eximus packed into them. They appear about every 30 to 60 minutes and remain available for up to 90 minutes, which means as many as three may be active after a long break. Casual players get the most efficient results by checking in a few times each day.
Best nodes for continuous farming
Outside of Alerts, endless mission types give you the steadiest kill counts. A loot squad built around a close-range nuke Warframe, a Speed Nova, and Nekros on Steel Path Zabala can pull in roughly 9 to 12 Moonflesh per minute. Pick the node that matches what else you want from the run.

Where to turn in Moonflesh
A new node on Eris’s bottom-left side leads to a special Relay, where Praghasa is located. Head to the interface at the ship’s front and speak with her to bring up the reward shop and spend your Moonflesh. Talking to Praghasa also unlocks the event’s daily narrative messages; they play only during the Operation.
New Taubound rewards
The event-only stock features the Dhampyre Syandana, Contegorus Armor set, and Vacis Amp Skin, as well as glyphs, a floof, and the “The Moon Killer” Honoria title. The three Contegorus pieces become available individually as the community reaches overall progress milestones, so some might not be purchasable for a few weeks. All the other items can be bought immediately.

Returning rewards
Praghasa also stocks a batch of items carried over from past Operations, including the Haalvu Sentient rifle, the Spectra Vandal, and the Basmu blueprint. These are a convenient way to pick up gear you may have missed from events that have already ended.

Four high-value items can be bought once each. The three Tauforged Archon Shards cost 375 Moonflesh apiece and the Legendary Core runs 500, so plan your spending around these before cosmetics if resource conversion matters more to you.

Eleven Arcanes are on offer, each capped at 42 pieces so you can build two full stacks. Melee Fortification and Melee Retaliation are the cheapest at 5 Moonflesh each, while the rest cost 8 apiece.

Once you buy an item, it appears in your inventory or arsenal straight away, and the Contegorus pieces simply become selectable in Praghasa’s shop as each community milestone is reached. With more than a month of runtime and generous drop rates, even a casual schedule of daily check-ins and the occasional Alert is enough to clear the whole list before Praghasa departs for Tau.
