Bloomheart Fruit

Bloomheart Fruit grows only in Cinder’s Cradle, the volcanic region of Embervale, on tall segmented palm-like trees tucked inside an overgrown cave ruin. You harvest it by hand or by chopping the trunk, and the fruit drops to the ground for you to collect.

Quick answer: Head north from the Ancient Gate past Drak’Dal Camp to the Cave Passage, find the segmented palm trees inside the ruins, and press E to harvest or cut them with any axe. Each tree yields 1 to 3 fruit.

Bloomheart Fruit location in Cinder’s Cradle

The harvesting location is in Vulkanites Basin’s volcanic biome, with the Ancient Gate and Ancient Spire lying to its south. From the site, the trail heads north toward Drak’Dal Camp and finishes at a Cave Passage entrance. The plants are inside the ruins, a dim subterranean area lit by blue lanterns, where dense green vegetation contrasts with the surrounding lava rock.

Fast travel to the nearest activated altar in Vulkanites Basin to cut the walk down, then follow the path north. The trees are thin with spiky frond canopies and are easy to miss among the dense plant growth, so look up for the segmented trunks.

How to harvest Bloomheart Fruit

Travel into the volcanic biome and open your world map. Plot a route north from the Ancient Gate, moving toward the Drak’Dal Camp and the Cave Passage marker.

Each tree gives between 1 and 3 fruit per harvest. Picking the first one triggers an Uncooked Food And Herbs: Cinder’s Cradle item set notification, which confirms you now have the resource and have unlocked the recipes tied to it.

Bloomheart Fruit stats and the recipes it unlocks

Eaten raw, Bloomheart Fruit is a Common food item that triggers health regeneration. It stacks to 20. Picking it up also teaches two Kitchen dishes that extend that healing effect far longer, so it is worth carrying a stack back to a base with a Kitchen.

Exotic Fruit Salad is the clearest upgrade. It carries the same Health Regeneration 24 as the raw fruit but holds it for a full hour instead of 210 seconds. The recipe is crafted at the Kitchen and combines Prickle Pearl, Bloomheart Fruit, Strawberries, and Dates, yielding 5 per craft.

Pearlbloom Nectar is a Kitchen drink pressed from Prickle Pearl and Bloomheart Fruit. It grants Stamina 70 and Health Regeneration 12 for 3600 seconds, so it leans toward stamina-heavy play rather than pure healing. You need both Bloomheart Fruit and Prickle Pearl in your history to unlock it, and each craft makes 5.

The fruit also feeds into dye and ground materials at the Coloring Station, including Crimson Ground, Royal Temper, and Violet Grove, if you want it for base decoration rather than food.

Grow your own Bloomheart Fruit from a seedling

Once you have at least one fruit and the Seedbed recipe, you can farm it at a base instead of returning to the cave. Crafting at the Seedbed turns 1 Bloomheart Fruit plus 1 Basalt Farm Soil into 5 Bloomheart Fruit Seedlings, which stack to 100.

Place the seedling in Basalt Farm Soil, the enriched earth required for Cinder’s Cradle plants. It grows for 25 minutes before its single harvest yields Bloomheart Fruit ×2, Twigs, Tropical Wood, and Venom Stinger.

Basalt Farm Soil is made at a Farmer’s bench from Fertilised Farm Soil and Basalt Dust, so set that up first if you plan to farm the fruit at scale.

Confirming you have the fruit

A pickup counter such as Bloomheart Fruit +2 or +3 appears each time you collect from a tree, and the fruit lands in your inventory under Essentials. The first pickup also completes the Cinder’s Cradle uncooked food item set and adds the Exotic Fruit Salad, Pearlbloom Nectar, and Seedling recipes to your crafting lists. Once those recipes are available, you have everything the fruit unlocks.
