Halloween is back in Evade, the Roblox survival game from Hexagon Development Community where you outrun nextbots. The 2026 event adds a new seasonal currency called Wisps, a battle pass to spend it on, Spellbook pickups that give short boosts, new quests, more than 40 exclusive cosmetics, and at least seven Halloween-themed maps. The shop and menus have also been rebuilt.

Evade Halloween 2026 event dates
The event went live on October 17 at 1 a.m. UTC, which was the evening of October 16 for players in the Americas. During the update the game’s name changed from “[🎃SOON] Evade” to “[🎃UPDATING] Evade” and then to “[🎃HLWN] Evade”. Several purchase deadlines fall inside the event window, so the end of the event isn’t the only date that matters.

For reference, the previous Halloween event ran from October 24 to November 17, 2025, so this year’s event starts a week earlier and runs a few days longer.
Wisps currency and the Halloween battle pass
Wisps are this year’s Halloween currency. They replace Bread, which filled the same role in 2025. Wisps spawn around the maps during normal matches, and you pick them up just by running through them. They only work on the event battle pass, not in the regular item shop, so there’s no reason to save them once the event ends.
There are three Wisp pickups, and each is worth a different amount.

The battle pass has eight tiers. Ten items from earlier Halloween events are back on it, but they cost more than they did originally. If you want a head start, the code HALLOWEEN2026 gives 40 Wisps. A successful redemption shows up as a higher Wisp balance.
Spellbooks: temporary boosts against nextbots
Spellbooks are consumable pickups that spawn on maps alongside Wisps. When you use one, you get one of three short effects.
- Faster movement speed
- Higher jumps
- Brief invulnerability against nextbots
Each boost lasts about 10 seconds. That’s long enough to break away from a chase or jump to a ledge you couldn’t otherwise reach, but not long enough to rely on for a whole round. Spellbooks are free map pickups, not inventory items or something you buy.
Halloween quests, Vouchers and exotic cosmetics
Quests are a new system in this update. Finishing event quests unlocks exotic cosmetics that you can’t get from the battle pass. Quests also give Vouchers, a second event currency that you spend on free revives, which helps when a round goes wrong. A completed quest pays out its reward right away, so you can confirm it worked by checking your Voucher count or your cosmetics.
Evade Halloween maps in the 2026 rotation
The event is advertised with “7+” Halloween maps, but the actual rotation is bigger than that. It mixes community-built maps from earlier years with new ones, including Alien Metropolis, which ties into the Glorp Cat theme. Three regular maps, Drab Small, Bedroom, and Desert Bus, also have Halloween decorations for the season.

The event also adds two special 3D nextbots, Glorp Cat and Glorp Cat Jetpack.
New and returning Halloween cosmetics
More than 40 Halloween cosmetics are spread across the battle pass, quests, and gamepasses. Some are new, and some are seasonal favorites coming back from earlier events. Items marked “(Gamepass)” come with the Glorp Cat Set or Music Carry Pack 2, not the battle pass.

Item skins make up the largest group. There are 14 new ones: Vampire Compass, Occultist Timer, Big Bird Beacon, Occultist Landmine, Occultist Speed Pad, Oak Box Flashlight, Plush Radar, Gumball Sensor, Winged Eye Jump Pad, Bye Scream Cola, Gothic Lantern, Winged Eye Grapple, Gothic Revive Grenade, and Vampiric Teleporter. Tower Barrier, Skull Cup, and Locket of the Leviathan return from past years.
Glorp Cat Set, Eclipse Set and 500 Robux gamepass sets
During this limited-time offer, every gamepass set, whether new or old, costs 500 Robux. Sets usually range from 500 to 700 Robux, and the Military Set is priced at 700, so the most expensive bundles get the biggest savings. No lasting price adjustment has been confirmed.

The Eclipse Set is a community-made bundle that only comes back once a year, and its sale closes three weeks before the event ends. The Glorp Cat Set is new and stays on sale almost until the event ends. It’s also the only way to get the Glorp Cat character and the Glorp Hoverboard emote.
Evade shop and menu redesign
Not every change is cosmetic. The update replaces the whole in-game interface, including the shop and the other navigation menus. It also adds several systems that stay after the event:
- A fully redesigned UI across the game
- Collectibles
- Upgrades for deployables and utilities
- The quest system that drives exotic rewards and Vouchers
- A new image for the Demoman nextbot
All of the event content is in the regular Evade experience on Roblox, so there’s no separate place to join. If a server still shows the old menus, it hasn’t updated yet. Join a fresh server to get the new interface, the Wisps battle pass, and the Halloween map rotation.
