Anime Ball Battles Guide: How to Get Good Balls (Drop Rates and Abilities)

Every good ball in Anime Ball Battles comes from the summon machines, where Legendary pulls land 0.5% of the time.

Anime Ball Battles is a Roblox PvP game built around collectible balls. You pull them from summon machines, take three into a match, and launch them at an opponent’s ball across a small arena board. A ball’s rarity affects its HP and its damage, and it also decides whether the ball has a special attack at all. That makes the summon system the core of the game. A Common ball and a Legendary ball do not play the same game.

Quick answer: Good balls come only from Ball Summons Machine 1 and Machine 2. Each pull costs 100 Coins or 10 Gems. Legendary odds are 0.5%, Mythic 0.25% and Secret 0.05%.

Anime Ball Battles summon odds and costs

Machine 1 and Machine 2 list the same drop rates and the same prices. A single pull and a 10x pull cost exactly the same per ball. No bulk discount shows up in either currency, so a 10x summon saves time but not Coins.

Mythic0.25%
Legendary0.5%
Epic7.5%
Rare15%
Common53.4%

The listed rates add up to well under 100%, so the machines’ displayed odds don’t fully account for every pull. What the numbers do make clear is scale. On average, a Legendary turns up about once every 200 summons. That works out to roughly 20,000 Coins. Anything Epic or better is under 10% of pulls combined, so most of a new player’s collection will be Common and Rare filler.

What rarity changes: Ball HP, damage and abilities

Commons start at 100 HP, and their damage varies a lot. The Basketball deals none at all, while the Rubber Ball hits for 7. Epic and Legendary balls move up to 105 HP. They also carry named attacks that fire on their own during a round, which is where they pull ahead.

Base damage alone doesn’t separate the tiers much. A Rare Rage Shield Ball lists the same 5 DMG as the Legendary Three Sword Ball. The gap comes from the extra hits that higher-rarity balls trigger on top of their contact damage. Each match also asks you to pick from a set of your unlocked balls. A deeper collection gives you more ways to put a strong ball on the board.

Three Sword Ball

Three Sword Ball lands passive multi-hit sword slashes on contact. “ONI GIRI!” hits for 12, and “ASURA” hits for anywhere from 6 to 16. Against low-damage Commons like the Basic Ball and the Basketball, those hits stack up fast. In one recorded match, it won all three rounds against a Basic Ball, a Reindeer Ball and a Basketball without dropping one.

Godspeed Ball

Godspeed Ball is an Epic built around speed. It bounces across the arena at maximum velocity and throws in lightning dashes labelled “REMNANT” that deal 11 damage each. That makes it a strong fallback when your Legendary has already been used. In play, it closed out third rounds after Three Sword Ball had carried the first two.

Rarity is not a perfect guarantee

Some lower-tier balls have hits of their own, like a “SLAM” that deals 4 damage. Launching still takes skill, too. Before the countdown ends, you drag an aim arrow inside the launch box and press LOCK AIM, and a bad angle wastes even a Legendary. Still, the HP edge and the stacking ability damage give the higher rarities a clear advantage in head-to-head matches.

Where Anime Ball Battles Coins and Gems come from

Every summon costs currency, so how quickly you can pull depends on a handful of free reward systems. Some of them also hand out balls directly. Machine 2 offered free summons in one session, and five of them returned a Boar Blade Ball, a Sniper King Ball and a Rage Shield Ball. That’s one Rare and two Commons, which is a fair picture of the odds.

The lobby’s Lucky Wheel gives a free spin on a 15-minute cooldown. The prizes are small but frequent, and one spin returned 50 Coins.

Win Rewards

Each match victory adds 3 points to the Win Rewards bar. You claim its tiers from the main lobby, and a claimable tier shows a claim button on that screen.

Daily Quests and Milestones

The Quests menu splits into daily tasks and one-time Milestones. Several of them overlap, since a single win counts toward match, win and battle goals at once.

Login and playtime rewards

The Rewards tab is the one place that skips the gacha odds entirely. Thirty minutes of playtime awards a random Legendary.

Anime Ball Battles codes for summon currency

Codes are the largest single source of Coins. You redeem them at the Code Redemption area in the lobby of Anime Ball Battles on Roblox. Walking up to it opens the Codes tab. After you press Redeem, the rewards go straight to your account. The codes below were active as of October 18, 2026, and together they are worth 40,500 Coins and 1,000 Gems. That’s enough for about 40 single pulls before Gems.

Codes can expire without notice. New ones have tended to arrive alongside ball releases, player-count milestones and updates. Put together, the economy works the same way at every level. Wins, quests and codes turn into Coins, Coins turn into summons at 100 apiece, and the half-percent Legendary odds decide how long you’ll keep fielding Basketballs.
