Notre-Dame is one of the densest areas in Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse. It packs weapons, relics, Arcana cards, Melody Sheets and four boss fights. Below is every pickup in the order you reach each district, with its location and any ability, spell or fight it requires. Values are as of launch (version 1.0).

Notre-Dame access and late-item requirements
You enter Notre-Dame through the painting in the Gallery of Eternal Night (Main Hall), and only with the Masterpiece spell equipped. The full route is covered in the how to go to Notre-Dame walkthrough.
A handful of items are gated behind abilities, spells or boss fights:
- The Great Organ Room holds War and Famine, and the three Melody Sheets are spread across Notre-Dame. The organ puzzle solution covers the sequence.
- Death’s second fight is in the Choir. Beating him gives The Shadow (Soul Harvest) and Double Jump, and the Vampire Killer in the Deacon’s Quarter comes after it. See how to beat Death and how to get the Vampire Killer.
- Arthur in the Chapel needs the Fist of Talos spell equipped. He gives The Brittle King (Stained-Glass Shield) and Excalibur. See how to get Excalibur and beat Arthur.
- Joyeuse (Path of the Penitent), the Eldritch Talisman (East Gallery) and the Sonata Melody Sheet (Sealed Scriptorium) need Smash.
The three Mirrors of Life sit in the Notre-Dame Undercroft, the West Triforium and the East Gallery.
