The Crypt in Adopt Me‘s Halloween 2026 event is a small stone mausoleum beside the Manor. You open it with Crypt Keys. Each key opens one stone coffin. In the first hall, Lower Level I, our four coffins gave Headphones, a Twig and 1,000 Candy Corn, and one opened the way down: a ladder to Lower Level II, where two coffins gave 2,000 Candy Corn each. This guide covers Lower Levels I and II, the levels we have seen so far.
Quick answer: Descend the stairs to the Manor’s right to reach the mausoleum. Equip a Crypt Key, unequip your egg, and press E at the white entrance. Press E at each coffin; each one consumes a key. The coffin that says “What could be down there…” stays open with a ladder down to Lower Level II.
Adopt Me Crypt location
The Crypt sits at the bottom of the stairs on the right-hand side of the Manor. It is a stone mausoleum with a round blue window and ivy on the walls. The doorway is barred and glows white, and there is a bowl of blue fire on each side. The signpost at spawn also has a CRYPT arm that points the way.

Starting at the Manor’s front porch, descend its right-hand stairs and continue along the path. You’ll pass a little stand with a stone tomb, where the Uncommon Prop Whip costs 1,950 Candy Corn. Keep going to reach the mausoleum.

Open your Backpack, select the Halloween tab, choose Crypt Key, and select Equip. Next, click the key in your hotbar. Arrows on the ground trace the route from the Manor down the stairs. While they’re active, the bottom-left corner displays a “Stop Guiding” button.

Repeat at the other coffins until you run out of keys. When your last key is spent, it leaves your hotbar.
Opening your first coffin also completes the “Knock Knock!” daily task (“Unlock a reward with the Crypt Key!”). A green tick appears on the Halloween widget right away.

Lower Level I rewards
At the rear arch, the first hall bears the label “LOWER LEVEL I”. A “Rewards” plaque below lists three symbols: a twig, headphones, and Candy Corn marked 1,000. Four stone coffins fitted with keyholes flank the aisle, two on either side. We opened all four, one key each, and got one result from each:

| On-screen message | What you get |
|---|---|
| “You found Headphones!” | Headphones |
| “You found Twig!” | Twig |
| “You got 1000 Candy Corn!” | 1,000 Candy Corn |
| “What could be down there…” | No item; the coffin stays open with a ladder down to Lower Level II |
The Candy Corn goes straight to your balance: ours went from 7,840 to 8,840.

The Headphones go to the Halloween tab of your Backpack and carry an 8 Days tag.

The last of our four coffins gave the Twig, and with that our final key left the hotbar.

How to get down to Lower Level II

Lower Level II rewards
The second hall is signed “LOWER LEVEL II” over the back arch. Its “Rewards” plaque shows three Candy Corn rewards: 1,000, 2,000 and 2,000. The layout matches Lower Level I, with coffins along both sides of the aisle and a red glowing window at the far end.

We opened two coffins here, one Crypt Key each. Both said “You got 2000 Candy Corn!”: our balance went from 9,286 to 11,286 and then to 13,286.

Once you claim a reward, its icon on the plaque turns dark. The 1,000 Candy Corn reward and the rest of Lower Level II’s coffins are still unopened on our side.
How to leave the Crypt
Click “Exit Crypt” at the bottom left. The game asks “Are you sure you want to exit the Crypt?”; pick Yes and you are back outside the mausoleum.
How to get Crypt Keys
Crypt Keys come from two places:
- Ghost Gallery results. On the results screen, “CRYPT KEY” appears below the Candy Corn.
- Halloween daily tasks.
In your Backpack, the key is listed as “Crypt Key”, an Uncommon, Limited item marked [Untradable]. You can’t trade for them, so you have to earn them; the four keys we used came from those two sources.
What we have not seen in the Crypt yet
Everything above is from Lower Levels I and II. We have not yet opened the rest of Lower Level II’s coffins, including the 1,000 Candy Corn reward, and we have not found a way below Lower Level II. We also have not seen a chest, the Mummy Spider, or the Polymorphing Cat Food. We also don’t know yet whether each coffin always gives the same reward, or what the Headphones and Twig are used for. We are going back with more Crypt Keys and will update this guide with what we find.
