Petal I: Bonds of Fellowship
Find Petal I, Bonds of Fellowship, among blue blossoms beside a fallen body and wrecked carts. The spot is on lower ground beneath the bell at Trail of Cages, roughly 157 m away in a straight line and 17 m below it.
The Trail of Cages bell sits at the end of a cliff path about 300 m from the Outlaw Trap bell. In our run, the path narrowed to a thin ledge with a long fall on one side, and one step off its edge was fatal.
In our run, the way went from the Trail of Cages bell along the path and down a series of step-downs to the low ground, about 183 m on foot.
In our run on Pathbreaker, a Thief and a Firethorn Thief stood on the path, another Firethorn Thief waited further along, three Frenzied Hounds roamed below the step-downs and a few more hounds stood by the flower.
In our run, the way back up went over a wooden palisade with a climb prompt onto a plank deck, then up the plank wall marked with an X by running up it, and along the path back to the Trail of Cages bell.
In the memory, a Young Mandate Disciple recognizes a Transcended Mandate Disciple and asks “Th-that sword… Senior Brother Ye? Is that you?” At the end he tells him “Senior Brother Ye… go! Follow the mountain path, leave this forest!”
Petal II: Orders Reiterated
Look for Petal II, Orders Reiterated, amid blue blossoms beside a damaged wooden scaffold in a hollow beneath a bandit pit. It is about 195 m in a straight line from the bell at Trail of Cages and approximately 17 m below it.
In our run, the way went from the Trail of Cages bell back along the cliff path, down a slope to a plank walkway above the pit and down into the pit, about 226 m on foot.
In our run on Pathbreaker, two Bandits and a Frenzied Hound waited on the pit floor.
From the edge of the pit floor by a hanging cage, the blue flowers of the petal are visible below. In our run, walking off that lip was a drop of about 5 m with no damage.
In our run, no ladder, rope or climb prompt led back up out of the hollow after the petal.
In the memory, a Senior Mandate Disciple asks “Junior Brother, that Maskwalker was already faltering. Why did you hesitate?” Later he warns “Remember this… if I see you forsake our code for personal sentiment again… then do not blame me for abandoning our brotherhood”.
Petal III: No Leniency
Follow the path about 46 m from the Outlaw Trap bell to a rock arch. Beneath it, Petal III, No Leniency, rests among blue flowers beside a stone lantern.
In our run, the walk from the Outlaw Trap bell met no enemies; a thief and three Frenzied Hounds stood on lower ground below the path and stayed there.
In the memory, a Young Mandate Disciple pleads, “Stop! all of you, stop! We trained under the same master… We are brothers…” At the scene’s close, he vows, “I will eradicate him… and every Maskwalker in this world!”
Reward for all three petals
Each petal card shows how many of the three you hold, for example “(2/3) Collect all Memory Remnants to increase HP +7%”.
Picking up the third petal completes the Memory Flower: Fellow Disciples (one of the sets in the Memory Flowers guide). The card then reads “(3/3) All Memory Remnants collected, HP increased +7%”.
The petals can be taken in any order; in our run petal III came first, then I and II.
