Quick answer: Petal I is at the end of the river channel past the Temple of Blue Fireflies bell, II is upstream of Master Bi Hai’s arena, III is below Survivors’ Courtyard and IV is in a barn by the Terraces bell.
You can collect the petals in any order. Collecting all four raises HP by 7%.
| Petal | Nearest bell and distance | Condition |
|---|---|---|
| I. Lovers’ Reunion | Temple of Blue Fireflies, about 200 m up the river channel | Appears only after the Vessel Woman standing on it dies |
| II. Is That My Son? | Smuggler’s Tunnel Entrance, about 60 m (upstream of Master Bi Hai’s arena) | None |
| III. A Solitary Release | Survivors’ Courtyard, about 70 m on foot through the wooden gate | None |
| IV. That Is Not My Father! | Terraces, about 33 m on foot up a slope | None |
Petal I: Lovers’ Reunion
At the channel’s endpoint in the Village of Lu, you’ll find Petal I, Lovers’ Reunion. From the Temple of Blue Fireflies bell, it’s roughly 200 m on foot and 14 m below the bell.
The flower stays hidden until the lone Vessel Woman standing on its spot at the end of the channel dies. Once she is down, the flower fades in on the same spot.
In our run, the way in went from the Temple of Blue Fireflies bell down into the river channel and up along the channel to its end, where the Vessel Woman crouched in the water by a plank wall.

In our run on Pathbreaker, she was the only enemy at the channel end and went down in about 5 seconds. A group of Vessel puppets can stand midway along the channel when they are still alive.

The Well of the Three Puppets bell is closer in a straight line, but in our run the way down from that side was closed off by a wooden fence above a gully, so the channel from the Temple of Blue Fireflies bell is the way in and back out.
A Confused Husband speaks to his wife in the memory: “Ping…? How are you here? You were still asleep when I left… Are you feeling better?” Now a Voiceless Puppet, she can only think “(Save me… my body… I can’t control my body…)”.

Petal II, Is That My Son?, sits on a flat rock beside the stream upstream of Master Bi Hai’s arena, about 40 m past the Blackstone Shard chest. The closest bell is Smuggler’s Tunnel Entrance, about 60 m away.

In our run, the walk went from Master Bi Hai’s arena upstream along the stream, past the shard chest and the Village Auntie elite in the water, to the glowing flower on the rock.
At night, a woman out looking for her child calls, “Bao? Bao! What are you doing out here? It’s so late.” The child answers only with giggles.

Petal III: A Solitary Release
Petal III, A Solitary Release, rests on a wooden crate beneath timber supports beside a rock face. It is roughly 23 m in a straight line from the Survivors’ Courtyard bell and sits about 6 m lower.

In our run, the way there went from the Survivors’ Courtyard bell through an open wooden double gate, around the outside of the courtyard wall and down a slope to the crate, about 70 m on foot, with no enemies on that ground.

Near the flower, a rope for rappelling descends to a lower floor occupied by four Baihe Disciples. The flower doesn’t require going down there.
In the memory, Lu Laowu, a lonely old man with no wife or children, tells his brother Lu Xiaoliu “I’ll throw my life into this well and end it once and for all!”, and Lu Xiaoliu cries “No– Brother! Stop!!”

Petal IV: That Is Not My Father!
Petal IV, That Is Not My Father!, sits on a wooden table inside a dark wooden barn about 29 m from the Terraces bell and about 3 m higher.

In our run, the walk went from the Terraces bell up a slope to the barn, about 33 m in all, with no enemies within 40 m of the way.
In the memory, Deshun, a Terrified Villager, encounters a Talking ‘Wooden Stump’ that tells him “Ah… Deshun… it’s me… it’s your dad…” Deshun won’t accept that it’s true.

Reward for all four petals
Each petal card shows how many of the four you hold, for example “(2/4) Collect all Memory Remnants to increase HP +7%”.
Collecting the fourth petal completes the Memory Flower of the Villagers of Lu (one of the sets in the Memory Flowers guide), and the card reads “(4/4) All Memory Remnants collected, HP increased +7%”.
The petals can be taken in any order; in our run petal II came first, then IV, III and I.
