Quick answer: All four petals of the Thread-Binding Disciple’s Memory Flower are in the Mirage Estate, each a short walk from a bell, and collecting all four raises your maximum HP by 7%.
| Petal | Nearest bell and distance | Note |
|---|---|---|
| I. Abnormality | Nuo Mask Altar, about 27 m | Covered veranda of the building next to the bell |
| II. Gone Without a Trace | Shaded Bamboo Path, about 64 m on foot | One drop of about 5 m with no climb back |
| III. The Herald’s True Form…? | Covered Corridor, about 64 m on foot | Dark room on one floor, below a lit lattice window |
| IV. The Herald’s True Form! | Leng Tu’s Study, about 94 m | Bamboo garden by a stone basin and carved relief |
The Thread-Binding Disciple’s Memory Flower in Phantom Blade Zero is split into four petals. Each one plays a short memory about Senior Brother Leng Tu and the Herald. All four are in the Mirage Estate, and each is a short walk from a bell, so you can collect them in one trip through the area.
Petal I: Abnormality
At the Mirage Estate, use the Nuo Mask Altar bell as your starting point. Enter the neighboring building and step onto its covered veranda; the petal is beside the wooden lattice wall, roughly 27 m from the bell. Across the veranda, look for a bare tree beside a stone balustrade to check that you have found the correct place.

When you pick it up, an Uneasy Thread-Binding Disciple says Leng Tu has changed: “But lately… he doesn’t seem as ruthless. If anything, he seems almost… impatient…?” A Studious Thread-Binding Disciple waves the worry away with “Isn’t that a good thing? It means his puppetry has made a new breakthrough!”
The card then shows “THREAD-BINDING DISCIPLE’S MEMORY FLOWER” and “I. ABNORMALITY”, along with the line “Collect all Memory Remnants to increase HP +7%”.

From the Shaded Bamboo Path bell, set off on foot and cover roughly 64 m. The petal is growing at the base of a wall made of red carved wooden doors. You’ll pass a motionless puppet on the path; it does not attack, even if you stand right next to it.

Along this route, you’ll need to drop about 5 m, and there’s no way to climb back up. After jumping down to collect the petal, you cannot retrace your steps on foot to the Shaded Bamboo Path bell.
The descent to petal II is about 5 m; taking it blocks your return to the Shaded Bamboo Path bell. After collecting the petal, continue through the building along the lattice corridor. A wall borders one side, while the other opens into an upper furnished room containing a carpeted hall and a chest. Enter the room, cross to its far corner, and descend the real staircase to the floor below.
At the foot of the stair, set off through the estate on foot for about 130 m until you reach the Opera House bell. Nothing attacks you along the way. Rest at the bell, and you’re back at a save point with petal II in hand.
In this memory, an Uneasy Thread-Binding Disciple asks “Brothers… have any of you seen Xiao-Yi?” and says that people close to Leng Tu are disappearing. An Indifferent Thread-Binding Disciple brushes it off, and the scene closes with a Mysterious Puppet asking “Heehee… big brother, why do you look so troubled?” The card reads “II. GONE WITHOUT A TRACE”.

Petal III: The Herald’s True Form…?
From the Covered Corridor bell, walk about 64 m. The whole route stays on one floor, with no climbing and no drops. The petal is in a dark room, lying on a rug just below a lit lattice window. The window’s light is the easiest way to spot it.

A New Thread-Binding Disciple narrates this memory, saying “Senior Brother, from what I’ve seen… the Herald’s puppetry and Phantom Art are unmatched in this age…” and wondering whether Leng Tu is the Herald. The card reads “III. THE HERALD’S TRUE FORM…?”.

Petal IV: The Herald’s True Form!
The last petal is about 94 m from the Leng Tu’s Study bell. Find the room that holds the Nuo Mask Fragment Joy, then follow the corridor leading out of it. About 43 m from that room, the corridor opens onto a bamboo garden.

Look for blue flowers next to a stone basin, at the foot of a large carved stone relief. The petal grows among those flowers.

The New Thread-Binding Disciple returns for this memory and reaches a conclusion: “The Herald is Lengtu! Lengtu is the Herald!” The card reads “IV. THE HERALD’S TRUE FORM!”.

Reward for all four petals
You can collect the petals in any order. Each card has a counter showing how many of the four you hold. Once you pick up the fourth, the game shows “(4/4) All Memory Remnants collected. HP increased.” and your maximum HP goes up by 7%. That message confirms the set is complete.
