The three extracts in VV Ultimatum are quest items tied to the Mystery Statue Quest, and grabbing all of them opens a portal that lets you refund your skills for free. They come from very different parts of the game, so the real challenge is reaching each one rather than the collecting itself.
Quick answer: Get the Intelligence Extract by finishing the tutorial, the Strength Extract by beating the Crocodile King boss in the Swamp, and the Masked Hollow Man Extract by killing the secret boss that spawns in the Soul Society Outskirts. Place all three in the statues near Clint to spawn the portal.
What the three extracts look like
Each extract is a glowing orb that carries the “Quest Item” label, so you will know the moment one lands in your inventory. The colors make them easy to tell apart, and each one corresponds to a specific statue back at Clint’s location.

Unlock the Mystery Statue Quest first
Before any extract counts toward the reward, you need the quest itself. The giver is an NPC named Clint, who stands across the road from three large statues, a fallen tree trunk, and a broken staircase.
Intelligence Extract: Finish the tutorial
The blue Intelligence Extract is the easiest of the three. You receive it for completing the tutorial, and you keep it whether or not you defeat the tutorial end boss, Gelum. When the helpful spirit prompts that fight, you can skip it and still collect the orb.
Note: Even though Gelum is optional for this step, fighting him is worth it. He hands out other useful rewards, and the encounter teaches the basic control layout you will rely on later.
Strength Extract: Defeat the Crocodile King in the Swamp
The green Strength Extract drops from the Crocodile King boss in the Swamp area. Two requirements gate this fight, so plan for a longer grind.
- The quest to unlock the Crocodile King fight only becomes available at level 35.
- You need the respirator to enter the Swamp. Without it, the toxic fumes kill you very quickly.
Once you have the respirator and the unlocked quest, beat the Crocodile King and pick up the orb it leaves behind.
Masked Hollow Man Extract: Kill the secret boss in the Soul Society Outskirts
The orange Masked Hollow Man Extract comes from a secret boss that spawns randomly somewhere in the Soul Society Outskirts. When it appears, a server-wide text prompt reads “a big Hollow has appeared.” That message is your signal to stop whatever you are doing and start searching for it, since its respawn timing is not known and another chance may be a while away.
Place the extracts and claim the reward
With all three orbs in hand, return to the statues at Clint’s location and place each extract in its matching statue. A secret portal then appears on the ground in front of them.
Step through the portal to enter a pink room with a shrine. Interacting with that shrine refunds your individual skills at no cost, which saves you from resetting the entire skill tree with Robux. Seeing the portal spawn after the final placement confirms the quest setup is complete.
The whole chain is long because of the level 35 gate and the random Hollow spawn, so do not be surprised if the Mystery Statue Quest sits in your journal for a while. Lock in the Intelligence Extract early, build toward the respirator and the Crocodile King fight, and stay ready to drop everything the moment the big Hollow alert hits.
