Rockstar Games unveiled the Grand Theft Auto VI cover on June 18th, and two women immediately drew the most attention. One is Lucia, the female lead who anchors the artwork alongside Jason. The other is a separate character in a green crop top, tucked into one of the collage panels, who quickly became known online as the “cover art girl.”
Quick answer: The main woman on the GTA 6 cover is Lucia, one of the two playable protagonists. The other widely shared “cover art girl” is an unnamed character shown in a green crop top, marked with a turquoise sports jersey and “Vice Baby” and “305” tattoos that tie her to Vice City.

Lucia on the GTA 6 cover and key art
Lucia sits in the top-center panel of the cover collage, standing close to Jason and holding a pistol. She is the female half of the game’s dual-protagonist setup and the central female figure across the new artwork.
Rockstar also published a fresh standalone illustration of the pair, labeled the third piece of “Jason and Lucia” art. In it, Lucia wears a dark tank top with her hair pulled back in a ponytail, while Jason wears a white tank top. She holds a semi-automatic handgun near his chest, with the two framed against a Vice City beach at sunset. The background includes a pink and orange sky, palm tree silhouettes, and the city skyline across the water. The image was released in several aspect ratios for use as wallpapers.

The second woman driving conversation is the one in a green crop top, shown standing in front of a building in one of the cover panels. A few details point to her being a local rather than a newcomer to the area.
- Her turquoise jersey matches the color of the Leonida version of the Miami Dolphins, the in-game team known as the Vice City Manatees from the second trailer.
- A tattoo on her side reads “Vice Baby,” suggesting she was born and raised in the region.
- She also carries a “305” tattoo, a nod to the local area code.

Logo changes in the reveal
The Grand Theft Auto VI logo has been adjusted from the version first shown in 2023. The inner gradient border that ran yellow into pink is now solid white, and an outer border was added so the mark blends into the collage. The “Grand Theft Auto” text stays white and sits over a large Roman numeral “VI” filled with a neon pink, purple, and orange sunset gradient and palm tree silhouettes.
Rockstar also refreshed its own brand mark across its social media pages. The new Rockstar Games logo uses a glowing white R and star over a Vice City-style gradient of pink, purple, and blue, with dark palm tree fronds in the corners.

So when people talk about the GTA 6 “cover art girl,” they may mean either of two characters. Lucia is the confirmed playable protagonist and the dominant female presence in both the cover and the key art, while the green crop top woman is a background figure whose jersey and tattoos place her firmly in Vice City. The reveal arrived alongside Rockstar’s announcement of the game’s pre-order date.
