The giant Sand Castle at the heart of Fischfest 2 stays shut until you pull seven Conch out of the sand and set them on their pedestals. Each Conch is tied to a colored message bottle, and each bottle comes from a different activity, so you cannot just fish your way through them. Grab the bottle, read its hint, equip a Plastic Shovel, then dig at the matching spot.
Quick answer: Collect the yellow, orange, red, green, purple, and blue bottles, dig up each matching Conch with a Plastic Shovel, and finish the Captain Conch questline for the pink Conch. With all seven in hand, place them on the Sand Castle pedestals to open the grill hatch and reach the Heart of the Island.

What you need before digging any Conch
Six of the seven Conch follow the same loop. You unlock a colored bottle, read the message for a clue, then dig at the spot it points to. The pink Conch is the lone exception and comes straight from an NPC.
The one tool you cannot skip is the Plastic Shovel. You can pick it up along the coast of the Fischfest 2 island, or catch it from the water during the summer season. Without it, the dig spots do nothing, so secure a shovel before you start chasing bottles.
| Bottle | How to unlock it |
|---|---|
| Yellow | Found washed up on the beach behind spawn |
| Orange | Feed Driftwood to Bonfire Blake, then talk to him |
| Red | Finish the Jet Ski race in under 2 minutes |
| Green | Win the Sand Castle minigame twice |
| Purple | Buy from the Sunshell Merchant for 6,000 Sunshells |
| Blue | Random Drink at the Tiki Hut (1-in-6 chance) |
| Pink Conch | Complete Captain Conch’s questline (no bottle) |

The yellow bottle is the easiest pickup. It sits right behind your spawn point, on the beach coast next to the Bonfire Blake NPC at GPS (-23988, 2593, -4445). Walk over and grab it.
Reading it gives the hint, “To the island across the main, and check the far edge for what’s left behind.” That points to GPS (-24477, 2656, -4732), next to a blue building at the start of Coconut Town. Equip your Plastic Shovel and dig there for the Yellow Conch.

Orange Conch location
This one needs Driftwood first. Driftwood is a Trash Tier catch you can pull from anywhere on the map using Magnet Bait. Once you have a piece, head to the Driftwood Bonfire at GPS (-23977, 2593, -4441).
Place the Driftwood down, then speak with Bonfire Blake to receive the orange bottle. Its message reads, “The fire’s friends sit close to keep warm, but one of their logs is hiding more than splinters.” Travel to the Sand Castle Hatch area and dig at GPS (-24048, 2603, -5113) for the Orange Conch.

Red Conch location
The red bottle is a Jet Ski reward. Head to the Dock area, find the Jet Ski Referee, and start a race against other players. Your placement does not matter, only your time. Cross the line in under two minutes and the bottle is yours.
The hint reads, “Where the ledge dares to float above the water, the final mark is waiting for you.” That sends you to the north-eastern side of the map, to a lone lamp post at GPS (-24130, 2598, -4868), directly opposite the Shipwright NPC. Dig on the right side of the lamp for the Red Conch.

Green Conch location
The green bottle takes a little skill. Showing up is not enough. You need to win the Sand Castle minigame twice. Start it at GPS (-23965, 2592, -4654), study the castle you are shown, and rebuild it as closely as possible. Two clean wins hand you the green bottle.
Open it for the clue, “The castle of giants keeps its secret tucked on a wall, not out in the open.” That points behind the Shipwright NPC at the northern edge of the map, GPS (-23994, 2596, -4823). Dig there for the Green Conch.

Purple Conch location
The purple bottle is a straight purchase. Visit the Sunshell Merchant inside Coconut Town at GPS (-24498, 2647, -4423), open her shop list, and buy the Purple Message Bottle for 6,000 Sunshells. It is one of the pricier unlocks, so bank your shells in advance.
Equip and open it for the hint, “Treasure rides in coastal crates, and one of them wears its message right on top.” Make your way to the lone house beside the canal that runs into the inner island at GPS (-24274, 2595, -4444), then dig next to the house for the Purple Conch.

Blue Conch location
Blue is the one that traps most players. Go to the Tiki Hut at GPS (-24014, 2594, -4480) and talk to the Drink Server. Buy a Random Drink, not one of the named drinks. There is roughly a 1-in-6 chance the drink comes with the blue bottle attached.
Each drink costs around 25 Sunshells, and the Drink Server goes on a 15-minute cooldown after every purchase, so this can be a slow grind. Save plenty of Sunshells and keep buying every 15 minutes until it drops.
Once you open the blue bottle, its hint sends you to a small patch of land at GPS (-23591, 2611, -4350), sitting opposite the main island next to the Lighthouse. Dig at that exact spot for the Blue Conch.

Pink Conch location
There is no pink bottle and no digging here. The Pink Conch comes from the Captain Conch NPC standing across from the Tiki Hut. Work through his full questline, which mixes minigames, NPC tasks, and catching specific event fish.
One of the final steps asks you to obtain three Sunslashes. Wrap up the questline and Captain Conch hands the Pink Conch to you directly, saving you a dig.

How to dig up a Conch and open the Sand Castle
Every dig spot needs the Plastic Shovel equipped. Stand on the exact GPS coordinate from the bottle hint, equip the shovel, and dig to pull the Conch out of the sand. If nothing appears, you are usually a few steps off the marked location or you skipped reading the bottle that activates the dig.
With all seven Conch collected, return to the giant Sand Castle and place them on the pedestals. That opens the grill hatch and grants entry to the Heart of the Island, the final stretch of the event. Missing even one Conch leaves the pedestal puzzle incomplete, so confirm your inventory holds the yellow, orange, red, green, purple, blue, and pink Conch before heading back.

Most of these come together quickly once you have a shovel and a stack of Sunshells. The blue bottle’s random-drink luck is the real bottleneck, so finish the other six first and grind the Tiki Hut last. By the time the blue drop finally lands, your remaining Conch will already be on the pedestals and waiting.
