Gear in Blox Monsters gives your pets extra stats that change how they perform in combat. Each monster can hold up to three pieces at once, so the combination you pick directly shapes its damage, survivability, or critical output.
Quick answer: Get gear as drops from dungeons, equip up to 3 pieces on a monster for their stat bonuses, then raise those bonuses by spending coins at the Forge on Hub Island.
How gear works on your monsters
Gear is an equippable item that attaches to a single monster and adds a fixed stat boost while it stays equipped. The slot limit is three pieces per monster, so you cannot stack more than three bonuses on one pet at a time.
You earn gear by clearing dungeons, where pieces appear as drops. There is no purchase step for the gear itself. Once a piece is in your inventory, equipping it applies its stat instantly to the chosen monster.

The table below shows each gear piece and the stat it provides. Some pieces grant two stats at once, while a few are still listed as TBA until their bonuses are confirmed in-game.

The bonuses fall into a few clear groups. If you want raw output, lean on the damage pieces. For staying power, the health pieces are the obvious pick. Crit chance and crit damage pieces reward monsters built around landing big hits, while cooldown speed pieces let abilities come back faster.
How to upgrade gear at the Forge
Upgrading raises the stat value on a gear piece. Each upgrade costs coins, and every level costs more than the last, so plan around what you can afford.

You will know an upgrade worked when the gear’s level and its stat value rise in the Forge interface and your coin balance drops by the listed cost. If the upgrade does not go through, the usual reason is not having enough coins for the next level.
With three slots per monster, the strongest setups come from pairing gear that matches a pet’s role, then feeding coins into those pieces at the Forge to scale the bonuses over time.
