Fortnite Supergirl Skin: The Free Supergirl Cup Route Explained

The placement thresholds, regional schedule, and rewards that turned the Supergirl Cup into a no-cost skin unlock.

The placement thresholds, regional schedule, and rewards that turned the Supergirl Cup into a no-cost skin unlock.

The free path to the Supergirl outfit in Fortnite ran through the Supergirl Cup, a competitive event tied to the DC crossover built around the Supergirl movie. Players who finished inside their region’s placement range earned the skin and Supergirl’s Cape back bling sent straight to their Locker, with no V-Bucks required.

Quick answer: The free route was the Supergirl Cup on Wednesday, June 24. Finishing within your region’s cutoff (for example, Top 375 duos in Europe or Top 100 duos in Oceania) dropped the Supergirl skin and Supergirl’s Cape into your Locker automatically. That window has closed, so the skin is now sold in the Item Shop.

Supergirl Cup placement thresholds by region

Qualifying came down to where you finished on your regional leaderboard. The Battle Royale and Zero Build cups used the same duo cutoffs, while the mobile cup ran as solos with its own, tighter pools. Hitting the listed rank granted the base outfit plus the cape automatically.

RegionDuos cutoff (BR & Zero Build)Mobile solos cutoff
EuropeTop 375Top 200
NA EastTop 275Top 150
NA CentralTop 275Top 150
NA WestTop 125Top 30
BrazilTop 125Top 30
OceaniaTop 100Top 30
AsiaTop 100Top 30

Europe and the two NA regions gave the most breathing room, while Oceania, Asia, the Middle East, and NA West sat at Top 100 or below and demanded steadier finishes across the block.

Cup format and regional schedule

The event opened on Wednesday, June 24, and offered three ways in: a Mobile Reload Solos Cup, a Duos Zero Build Cup, and a Duos Battle Royale Cup. To enter, you needed an Epic account that was at least 13 years old with multi-factor authentication enabled, and a partner ready before queuing for the duo formats.

How Supergirl Cup scoring worked

Points came from a mix of eliminations and how deep your team survived. In the duo cups, each elimination added 2 points, and placement points began once a team reached the top 25, scaling up sharply toward a Victory Royale. Because survival carried more weight than early fights, landing in quiet areas, looting fast, and rotating ahead of the storm was the reliable way to climb.

The mobile cup used a lighter system. Each elimination was worth 1 point with a cap of 10, and a match win paid out seven points, so consistent placement again mattered more than chasing kills.

You knew the unlock worked when the Supergirl outfit and Supergirl’s Cape appeared in your Locker after the cup’s results were finalized for your region. No separate redemption step was needed.

Buying Supergirl and Krypto in the Item Shop

Anyone who missed the cup or finished outside the cutoff can still pick up the skin. The full DC set entered the Item Shop on Friday, June 26, at 8 PM ET, and the store update is the only way to get the Krypto Sidekick, which was left out of the free tournament prize pool entirely.

Epic has not confirmed an exact V-Bucks price for the Supergirl outfit. Past DC outfits in Fortnite have generally landed between 1,200 and 1,500 V-Bucks, but that range is a reference point rather than a set figure for this skin.

With the competitive window finished, the Item Shop is now the route to the Supergirl skin, and it is also the only place to add Krypto to your roster.
