Every Week 5 seasonal objective tied to recovering Slone’s lost equipment, plus how to knock each one out fast.

Slone is back in the Fortnite storyline, and the Week 5 seasonal quests in Chapter 7 Season 3 revolve around tracking down her missing gear. The set mixes a story objective — recovering Slone’s lost equipment from an underground stash — with four combat and movement challenges that hand out battle pass XP. None of them are complicated, but a couple are easy to overshoot if you don’t set up for them ahead of time.

Quick answer: Finish all five Week 5 objectives — find Slone’s lost equipment, deal 150 damage with a hired specialist, restore 75 health or shield using Duck snacks, eliminate 5 opponents from 15 meters or closer, and land 3 times outside named locations.

All Week 5 seasonal quests

Here is the full checklist for the week. Each one completes independently, so you can chase them in any order and across multiple matches.

Eliminate opponents at close range5 within 15 meters
Land outside named locations3 times

Find Slone’s lost equipment

This is the story beat of the week and the one people get stuck on. Slone’s gear is stored in an underground storage bay that you have to pay to open. Bring some Gold Bars with you, interact with the access point to unlock it, then head inside and collect the equipment marked on your screen.

Land near the storage bay and grab Gold Bars along the way. You’ll need them on hand before the door will open.
Interact with the paid access point to open the underground storage bay. The quest won’t progress until you’ve paid and entered.
Follow the on-screen marker inside and pick up Slone’s equipment. Grabbing it registers the objective as complete.

Deal 150 damage with a hired specialist

You need a specialist NPC fighting on your side for this one. Find a hireable character on the map, pay them with Gold Bars to join you, then push a fight while they’re active. Damage they deal to enemy players counts toward the 150 total, so keep them near the action instead of leaving them parked at a landing spot.

Note: The damage has to come from the hired specialist, not from your own weapons, so let them engage rather than finishing every fight yourself.

Restore 75 health or shield with Duck snacks

Duck snacks are consumable healing items found in chests, floor loot, and around points of interest. Any combination of health and shield you recover from eating them counts, up to a total of 75. The fastest way to knock this out is to take a little chip damage early, then eat snacks until you top back up.

Eliminate 5 opponents from 15 meters or closer

These are close-quarters knockouts, so lean on shotguns and SMGs and take fights inside buildings or tight spaces. Only eliminations within 15 meters count, which rules out long-range kills. Landing at a busy, contested spot early gives you the most chances to rack these up quickly across a match or two.

Land 3 times outside named locations

This is the simplest objective and a good one to combine with the others. When you jump from the Battle Bus, aim for open terrain away from any labeled point of interest on the map. Do that in three separate matches and the quest clears. You can chase the close-range eliminations or Duck snacks in the same drops, since landing away from named spots doesn’t stop you from working on anything else.

How to confirm the quests are done

Each objective shows a progress bar in the quest menu, and you’ll see an on-screen notification the moment one completes. The story step for Slone’s equipment updates as soon as you pick up the gear inside the storage bay. If a challenge isn’t moving, check the specifics — the hired specialist has to land the damage, and close-range eliminations only count inside 15 meters. Clear all five and the battle pass XP is credited straight away, helping you level up faster to unlock more of the Slone storyline.
