Fortnite: How to Get the Holofoil Batman Sprite

The Holofoil Batman Sprite is one of the special-finish versions of the Mythic Batman Sprite added during Fortnite’s Hot Bat Summer event in Chapter 7 Season 3. Unlike the base Batman Sprite, the Holofoil finish has no fixed drop from a boss fight, so it comes down to loot luck and knowing exactly where it can appear.

Quick answer: Open Sprite Chests and regular Chests, use the Sprite Locator gizmo, or eliminate a player carrying it, then extract it with a Portable Extractor to add the Holofoil Batman Sprite to your collection. Defeating Catwoman only drops the base Batman Sprite, not the Holofoil version.

Where the Holofoil Batman Sprite drops

The Holofoil is a special variant, which means it is tied to random loot rather than a guaranteed source. Every method that can hand you a Batman Sprite variant can, in theory, roll the Holofoil finish, but the odds are low because the base Sprite is Mythic.

Drop into a match and prioritize Sprite Chests and standard Chests. These are the main loot pools where the Holofoil finish can appear, so open as many as you can each game.

Use a Sprite Locator if you have one to track down nearby Sprites faster. Landing in a squad also helps, since squads have a 5% chance to turn up rare Sprite variants from looting chests.

If you spot an enemy carrying the Holofoil Batman Sprite, eliminate them before they reach an Extraction Point and pick it up off their drop.

Once it is in your hands, use a Portable Extractor to bank it immediately. Because special variants are rare, carrying one to a fixed Extraction Point risks losing it to another player.
