Bring Back The Sun: The Jail Walkthrough (Roblox)

How to work through The Jail’s puzzle chain, reach the exit, and keep progressing toward the four legendary relics.

The Jail is one of the escape-room areas in Bring Back The Sun!, the Roblox puzzle game where a wizard has hidden the sun behind endless rain. Like every location in the game, it is built as a self-contained room. You are dropped into the space, you dig through it for hidden clues, and you feed those clues into locked inputs until the exit opens and you can move on toward the four legendary relics that end the curse.

Quick answer: Walk the entire cell block first, collect every hidden clue, match each clue to the lock or panel it belongs to, and clear the puzzle chain in order until the exit door opens.

Where The Jail fits in Bring Back The Sun!

The game is made by Protocol: Anomaly and moves you through a series of themed maps, from the Wizard’s House and the Sinister Forest to the Ancient Ruins, the Restaurant, and the Lava Temple. Each map is its own escape room with its own set of hidden clues and locked steps. The Jail follows the same rules as the rest of the game, so the skills that clear earlier rooms carry straight over.

Clearing a map is not the end of the game on its own. The relics are what actually break the wizard’s curse, and you need all four before the rain stops. Badges and challenge completions are extra confirmation that you are moving forward, but finishing each room in turn is what unlocks the path to the next area.

How to clear The Jail step by step

Walk the full space before you touch anything. Note every locked door, empty slot, keypad, or object that clearly expects an input. Knowing what the room is asking for tells you what kind of clue you are hunting.

Search for hidden clues. Codes, symbols, and small items are tucked into the environment rather than handed to you, so check corners, shelves, bunks, and anything that looks deliberately placed. Cells and back rooms often hide the exact number or symbol a lock needs.
Match each clue to the puzzle it solves. Most steps are gated behind a code or a set sequence, and a clue only works on the input it was designed for. Enter the value on the matching lock or panel rather than guessing.
Clear one step to open the next. Solving a lock usually reveals a new room, item, or panel that continues the chain. Repeat the search-and-match loop until the final input is satisfied and the exit opens.

How to know The Jail is finished

A map counts as complete once its final puzzle is solved and the way out opens for you. When you clear The Jail, the exit becomes usable and you advance to the next area on the path toward the relics. Any badge or challenge that pops as you finish is a further sign the room registered as done.

Why a puzzle won’t accept your input

If a lock rejects your answer, the puzzle almost always still expects a clue you have not found yet. The rooms are built so each input needs its matching clue before it will open, so forcing random combinations does not work.

  • A required clue is still hidden somewhere in the cell block. Go back and search the rooms again, corners included.
  • You entered the clue on the wrong lock. Confirm the symbol or number belongs to the panel you are using.
  • An earlier step is not fully cleared, so the next input has not activated yet.

When you are ready to run through it yourself, you can jump into Bring Back The Sun! on Roblox and work The Jail the same way you would any other room, searching first and matching clues to locks until the exit opens and the next relic is within reach.
