Columbina is back for her first rerun in Genshin Impact Version 6.7 (Luna VIII), sharing the Phase 2 banner with a Raiden Shogun rerun. She is a 5-star Hydro Catalyst who scales off Max HP and works as an off-field enabler for the three Lunar reactions. Because both banners open at the same time and most accounts can only guarantee one 5-star, the pull decision comes down to a single question about your current roster.
Quick answer: Pull Columbina only if you already own, or plan to build, at least one Moonsign or Lunar-reaction damage dealer such as Ineffa, Lauma, Nefer, Flins, or Zibai. Without a Lunar carry on your account, she buffs a team you do not yet have, and the Raiden Shogun rerun on the same banner is the more universally useful pick.

Columbina banner dates and details
The Columbina banner, “Somnias a Luna,” runs during Phase 2 of Version 6.7. It is her first rerun since her Luna IV debut, and it overlaps completely with the Raiden Shogun “Reign of Serenity” rerun, so Primogem pressure is shared between them.

Add to Google Preferences →What Columbina does
Columbina is a Lunar reaction enabler and buffer first, and a sub-DPS second. Simply having her on the team converts three normal reactions into their Lunar variants for any allies, which previously required a very specific roster.
- Converts Electro-Charged, Bloom, and Hydro Crystallize into Lunar-Charged, Lunar-Bloom, and Lunar-Crystallize while she is in the party.
- Applies Hydro off-field through her Elemental Skill with strong uptime, so she does not steal field time from your main carry.
- Buffs Lunar-Reaction DMG for the whole team, with the buff scaling off her Max HP.
- Deals respectable personal off-field damage from her Skill.
- Includes a revive passive useful for Nod-Krai exploration.
The catch is the team restriction. Her buffs do not help conventional Vaporize, Melt, or Aggravate teams, and her value drops sharply outside dedicated Lunar lineups. She is a specialist, not a universal support like Furina or Xilonen.
Should you pull? Decide by your roster
The honest way to value an enabler is to ask what she adds to characters you already own, not what her damage number looks like in a vacuum.
| Your situation | Recommendation |
|---|---|
| You own Moonsign carries (Ineffa, Lauma, Zibai, Nefer, Flins) | Pull. She directly multiplies the ceiling of units already on your account. |
| You run classic reaction teams (Vaporize, Melt, Aggravate) | Skip. Those teams have their enablers already; she wants the Lunar package. |
| Your Lunar shelf is empty and Primogems are tight | Save, or take Raiden instead. Columbina buffs a team you must still build. |
| You are planning ahead for Snezhnaya / Version 7.0 | Consider saving. The meta shifts toward Stellar reactions, and her long-term value depends on more Lunar units releasing. |
Raiden Shogun is the safer generalist on the same banner. She works as an Energy battery and sub-DPS across dozens of comps, so for a thinner account she usually does more work today. If your only guarantee covers one unit, that trade-off is the whole decision.
Note: Version 6.7 is the closing act of the Lunar cycle before Snezhnaya. If you are committed to a Lunar team, this is a clean window to lock in a dedicated enabler. If you are not, buffers age gracefully, and she can wait for a later rerun.
Best teams for Columbina
She wants Moonsign teammates who actually benefit from Lunar reactions. Her steady off-field Hydro keeps reactions flowing while her HP-based buff scales the whole board.
- Lunar-Charged core: Columbina + Ineffa as the reaction-driven damage dealer, plus a second enabler and a shielder or healer for uptime.
- Lunar-Bloom / Crystallize flex: Columbina paired with Lauma and Zibai.
- Comfort core: Columbina for enabling and buffing, an on-field carry, dedicated sustain, and a flex sub-DPS that benefits from off-field Hydro.
Build requirements and how much investment she needs
Columbina reads her buffs and much of her damage off Max HP, so HP% is the headline stat. Community testing places her team-wide buff cap near 35,000 Max HP. Build toward that ceiling first, then convert everything left over into CRIT near the classic 1:2 ratio. Her Burst is Energy-hungry, so Energy Recharge is a requirement, not a luxury, at roughly 160% on an ER-leaning weapon or closer to 180% otherwise.
| Slot | Priority |
|---|---|
| Artifact set | 4-piece Aubade of Morningstar and Moon, or Silken Moon’s Serenade |
| Sands | HP% or Energy Recharge |
| Goblet | HP% |
| Circlet | CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG |
| Substats | HP% → Energy Recharge → CRIT → Elemental Mastery |
| Talent priority | Elemental Skill first |
On weapons, her signature Nocturne’s Curtain Call is the cleanest fit, raising HP, CRIT, and Lunar Reaction DMG while easing her Energy needs. She functions fine on 4-star options too, including the craftable Prototype Amber and Favonius Codex, which keeps her friendly for free-to-play accounts. Reliquary of Truth is a strong non-signature stat stick.
Common mistakes that waste her value
- Pulling her with no Lunar carry. She amplifies existing power; she does not create it.
- Over-stacking HP past the ~35,000 ceiling. Extra HP does nothing for the buff beyond that point, so switch to CRIT.
- Skimping on Energy Recharge. A Burst that never fires quietly tanks her contribution.
- Spending your only guarantee on impulse while Raiden shares the same banner.
Columbina is a keystone, not a crutch. If a Lunar-reaction team already lives on your account, she is one of the highest-value enablers this version and a strong pull during Phase 2. If it does not, there is no real reason to rush her, and your Primogems are better spent on Raiden today or saved for the Snezhnaya characters arriving with Version 7.0.
