RIVALS Events Schedule: Update 22 Live Now and What’s Next
RIVALS’ Update 22 is now live, bringing a new standard weapon — the first new standard weapon RIVALS has added in nearly two years, according to Nosniy Games — and closing out the Summer Event that arrived with Update 21. It began on the evening of September 4 and runs through September 26, 2026.
RIVALS is one of the largest first-person shooters on Roblox, regularly holding about 150,000 players in duels at once and having drawn about 18,000,000,000 visits alongside about 93,000,000 favorites. That scale is part of why the update is drawing so much interest as players jump in to try the new weapon.

Update 22 (September 4–26)
Update 22 is the current event on RIVALS’ calendar. Nosniy Games used it to introduce a new standard weapon — the studio says it’s the first new standard weapon in nearly two years — while retiring the Summer Event that Update 21 brought. It’s a new-content update that opened on the evening of September 4 and runs for about three weeks, closing September 26, 2026.
The event began at 9:00 p.m. ET on September 4, 2026 (8:00 p.m. CT / 6:00 p.m. PT) and runs until midnight ET on September 26, leaving about three weeks to take part. Exact start and end times are in the schedule above.
Interest is enormous, with more than about 7,400,000 players marked as going. That is an unusually large turnout for a single update, and a sign of how closely RIVALS’ player base follows each drop.
