The Japanese branch makes up the bulk of the starting roster, running from Gen 0 all the way through Secret Society holoX. Shirakami Fubuki debuted in Gen 1 but sits with the hololive Gamers unit, which is why you will see her grouped that way in the character menu.

DEV_IS ReGLOSS characters at launch

The four founding ReGLOSS members round out the roster.

  • Otonose Kanade
  • Ichijou Ririka
  • Juufuutei Raden
  • Todoroki Hajime

Who is not in the launch roster

A few of hololive’s newest groups sit out the first version. FLOWGLOW on the JP side and Justice on the EN side are absent at launch, which leaves obvious room for the roster to grow with future updates. Each of the 54 launch members also gets two solo songs, and graduated talents can still show up in group songs and stories where their agreement is in place.

How character pulls work in hololive Dreams

hololive Dreams is a free-to-play rhythm RPG with gacha character collecting. You spend premium currency to roll for illustrated cards, and each talent can have multiple skins that carry different skills. A team is built from a Leader plus five members, and you can strengthen each one through a skill tree and the Holomem Board progression system.

The game is out now on iOS, Android, and PC via Steam, with more than 150 songs available from launch. You can grab it from the official Steam listing or the App Store and Google Play.

With 54 members spread across four branches, the launch roster gives you plenty of options whether you are chasing a specific oshi or just building the highest-scoring team you can. Newer generations are the most likely candidates for the first big roster expansion.
