Storage Hunters: Open World has its next event locked in: the Nuclear Power Plant update, a new-content event scheduled to open August 1, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET (2:00 PM CT, 1:00 PM MT, 12:00 PM PT). The event picks up where the game’s limited-time auction left off. With it wrapped, attention turns to the Nuclear Power Plant build, now joined on the calendar by a shorter Clubs update opening a few days into that same week.

Nuclear Power Plant event
The Nuclear Power Plant event is a new-content addition to the map. Per the developer’s description, players take a car ferry — or a helicopter, if they can afford one — out to a nuclear power plant island and pitch in to help the engineers build the plant, working toward unlocking its full potential. It reads as a fresh area to explore rather than a quick cosmetic drop.
The event is set to run for a full week, opening August 1, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET (2:00 PM CT, 1:00 PM MT, 12:00 PM PT) and closing August 8, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET. With about 71,000 players already interested, it has far outdrawn the auction that came before it. Exact status and start time are in the schedule above.
Clubs event
Overlapping the back half of the power plant build is Clubs, a new-feature update with a competitive bent. The developer’s pitch is straightforward: assemble a group and go head to head in the new clubs system. It opens August 4, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET (2:00 PM CT, 1:00 PM MT, 12:00 PM PT) and runs a tighter window than the power plant event, closing August 7, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET.
Interest is modest so far next to the power plant event, but it gives players a second thing to jump into that same week. Exact status and start time are in the schedule above.
Limited-time auction (ended)
Before the power plant, the game ran a limited-time auction subtitled “Find limited items!”, a two-week event built around grabbing exclusive finds. It opened July 11 and closed July 25, 2026, drawing more than 23,000 interested players. That event has ended, so its limited items are no longer available through it.
