Outfits in Splatoon Raiders change the full look of your character, the mechanic. Unlike the mainline games, you cannot mix and match individual pieces here. Each outfit swaps your entire style at once, and every one of them is tied to a specific unlock condition or an amiibo scan.
Quick answer: You start with the Speed Mechanic, Power Mechanic, and Tactical Mechanic outfits. The rest unlock by finishing set challenges, such as reaching level milestones, upgrading tanks and weapons, clearing dungeons, or scanning Splatoon amiibo.

Every outfit unlocked through challenges
Three outfits are ready from the start, and the rest come from completing in-game objectives that span the full length of the campaign. Some are quick, like reaching level 10, while others require finishing every dungeon on the hardest setting or beating the final boss. A few outfit names are not yet confirmed, and those rows are marked accordingly.

Note: A handful of these conditions gate the same outfit family in tiers. The camo set (Sea-Lettuce, Seaweed, Algae) maps to the three tank types, the Squid Ink set scales with how many tanks you power up, and the Paradise set follows your hideout ship level.
amiibo-exclusive outfits
Four more outfits come only from tapping amiibo figures. Scanning any Splatoon series amiibo released before Raiders gives you the Bite Waders, a look based on the Salmon Run gear. The three new Splatoon Raiders amiibo, Shiver, Frye, and Big Man, each unlock an outfit modeled after that character.

Once an outfit is unlocked, it stops appearing grayed out in the Style tab and becomes selectable. If a style you expected is still locked, check that you have fully met its condition, such as clearing the required number of dungeons or hitting the exact level listed, since partial progress does not trigger the reward.
