Palworld 1.0: Every Undershirt Location and How to Craft Them

Where to find all four Undershirt schematics, their exact coordinates, and the materials needed to craft each one.

Where to find all four Undershirt schematics, their exact coordinates, and the materials needed to craft each one.

Undershirts are the accessory line in Palworld 1.0 that keeps you alive in extreme heat and cold. There are four of them, and three are unlocked by claiming schematics from sealed Ruined Towers on the Palpagos Islands. The fourth is tied to the Technology Tree and only opens at a high character level. Each schematic must stay in your inventory for its recipe to appear at a High-Quality Workbench.

Quick answer: Grab the Heat-Resistant Undershirt schematic at -379, -154, the Thermal (cold) schematic at -271, 91 on the Isle of Murmurs, and the Multiclimate schematic at 605, 304 in the Searing Dunes. Keep each schematic in your inventory, then craft it at a High-Quality Workbench. The Explosion-Resistant Undershirt unlocks from the Technology Tree at Level 76.

Each Undershirt occupies an accessory slot and reduces damage from a specific environmental hazard. The Multiclimate version handles both temperature extremes at once, while the two basic shirts each cover one side. Explosion-Resistant is a separate late-game item that blocks blast damage instead of weather.

Heat-Resistant Undershirt location and recipe

This is the easiest first target for a fresh save that only needs to survive hot zones. The tower sits in a low-level area, so you do not need a mid-game loadout to reach it.

Travel to the sealed Ruined Tower directly west of the Deep Bamboo Thicket Watchtower. The exact coordinates are -379, -154.
Complete the tower activity to unlock it and claim the Heat-Resistant Undershirt Schematic. Keep the schematic in your inventory.

The Wandering Merchant in Duneshelter also stocks this shirt for 7,000 Gold if you would rather buy it than run the tower.

Thermal Undershirt location and recipe

The Thermal Undershirt covers cold instead of heat, making it the go-to for early trips into snowy territory. Its tower is on the Isle of Murmurs, the region formerly known as Ice Wind Island, directly north of the Anubis Dunes.

Head to the Isle of Murmurs and find the sealed tower on the northern side of the island at -271, 91.
Unlock the tower to collect the Thermal Undershirt Schematic, then keep it in your inventory so the recipe stays active.
Craft the shirt at a High-Quality Workbench with the materials listed here.

The Duneshelter merchant sells this one for 1,000 Gold, the cheapest of the temperature shirts.

Multiclimate Undershirt location and recipe

The Multiclimate Undershirt is the one most players build toward because it raises both Heat and Cold Resistance from a single accessory slot. That removes the need to swap shirts every time the biome changes. Its schematic sits inside a sealed tower in the Searing Dunes, near the PIDF Tower where Marcus and Faleris appear.

This is a mid-game destination rather than an early stop. Wild Pals around the tower sit in the mid-30s, and a flying mount makes the approach far simpler because you can land on the ridge directly instead of climbing through hostile groups.

Break the three glowing rocks inside the ruin. There is no set order, and any weapon works, including a basic melee tool or a pickaxe. Once all three are destroyed, the Multiclimate Undershirt Schematic becomes available to claim.

An NPC on the Forgotten Island also stocks two Multiclimate Undershirts for 100 Dog Coins each. Dog Coins come from exploring caves, clearing bosses, and general world exploration, so buying one is often enough. The schematic can drop from treasure chests too, including the final chest at the end of caves, but the odds are very low, so the desert tower remains the reliable route.

Upgraded Multiclimate versions

The crafted base shirt starts at the lowest tier. Upgraded versions raise both resistance values, and the +2 shirt handles almost any climate on its own. The higher tiers drop from the Bellanoir raid bosses, with Bellanoir dropping the +1 and Bellanoir Libero dropping the +2.

Explosion-Resistant Undershirt (Level 76 unlock)

The fourth Undershirt is not found in the overworld at all. Once your character reaches Level 76, the Explosion-Resistant Undershirt appears in your Technology Tree and grants full immunity to explosion damage. Crafting it requires two rare late-game materials.

How to confirm the schematic unlocked the recipe

You know a tower reward worked when the schematic appears in your inventory and its description reads that it unlocks the matching recipe while carried. Open a High-Quality Workbench and the Undershirt should now be listed as a craftable item. When crafting finishes, the finished accessory drops into your inventory as a rare item, ready to equip in an accessory slot.

Note: The most common reason a recipe looks locked is leaving the schematic in a storage box. Palworld only exposes the recipe while the schematic is physically in your inventory, so carry it with you when you visit the workbench.

For a fresh save, pick up whichever basic shirt solves the hazard blocking you right now, then return for the Multiclimate schematic once your mount, armor, and fast-travel network can handle the Searing Dunes. That single accessory replaces both temperature shirts and frees up your other slots for offense or defense.
