Palworld 1.0: How to Farm Every Endgame Resource Fast

Automate wood, ore, organs, oil, gold, and rare late-game materials with the right stations, ranch Pals, and world settings.

Automate wood, ore, organs, oil, gold, and rare late-game materials with the right stations, ranch Pals, and world settings.

Most of the grind in Palworld 1.0 disappears once you stop mining by hand and let your base do the work. Nearly every material up to around level 70 can be automated through dedicated stations, ranch Pals, or a handful of world settings that increase spawns and drops. The path is mechanical once you know which building or Pal produces each resource, so the real skill is setting up the right combination and then stepping away.

Quick answer: Assign the correct ranch Pal or production station for each material, set Pal appearance rate to 1.9x, condense your ranch Pals, and use work-speed passives like Artisan and nocturnal traits so production never stops.

World settings that speed up farming

Before touching a single station, change your world settings. Setting Pal appearance rate to 1.9x gives you noticeably more spawns for captures, ranch workers, and drops without hitting the full 2x value, which also multiplies boss spawns and makes exploration messier.

If you rely on meteorites for Paldium, lower the meteorite or supply drop spawn rate setting so meteors fall more often. That single change turns meteor crushing into a steady Paldium source instead of a rare event.

Make your ranch produce more

The ranch carries most of the annoying monster-drop resources in Palworld 1.0. Different Pals graze out different materials, and output climbs when you improve three things at once.

Farming work skill level is the base multiplier. Raise it with handbooks, which drop reliably from Lucky Pals, so always catch a Lucky Pal when one appears.

Condensing strengthens partner skills, and many ranch drops are tied to those skills. A higher star rank can lift production even when the visible work suitability number does not move.

Work speed controls how fast grazing happens. Feed ranch Pals good work-speed food and lean on passives like Remarkable Craftsmanship, Artisan, Serious, and Work Slave. Nocturnal passives keep them producing overnight. A Monitoring Stand set to disable every job except ranching keeps those Pals focused only on materials.

Basic building materials

Wood and stone are the first things to automate. The Logging Site and Stone Pit both unlock at level 7, and assigning lumbering or mining Pals to them generates large amounts passively without natural nodes.

Paldium Fragments come from feeding stone into a Crusher. The Refrigerated Crusher adds options later, including converting ore into Paldium at a better rate. Fiber still comes from putting wood into a Crusher, so a strong wood farm quietly feeds your fiber supply too.

Ranch Pals for organs, oil, cloth, and leather

The materials that used to force manual hunting now come from the right grazing Pal. Match the Pal to the resource, then upgrade it with the ranch improvements above.

ResourceRanch Pal
WoolCremis or Melpaca
Flame OrgansRooby, Flambelle, or Kelpsea Ignis
Ice OrgansFoxcicle (a level 15 Alpha Foxcicle works early)
Electric OrgansSparkit
Venom GlandsDepresso or Caprity Noct
Pal FluidsKelpsea
High Quality Pal OilDumud or Dumud Gild
High Quality ClothSibelyx or Sibelyx Primo
LeatherSurfent
BonesSweepaeler

A few picks reward extra effort. Dumud Gild produces both oil and gold and works well early, while a heavily upgraded regular Dumud can be steadier for oil alone. Sibelyx Primo starts with a higher farming level and can be bred from Sibelyx with Lupore or Lupine from Sun Reach. Surfent finally makes leather painless.

Note: High Quality Pal Oil is a separate resource from Crude Oil. Oil feeds late-game gear like the Plasma Rifle, while Crude Oil is refined into Plasteel, so do not mix up the two production chains.

Gold farming, passive and active

For hands-off gold, put Mau or Dumud Gild on the ranch. Mau only produces gold and starts at a lower farming level, while Dumud Gild doubles up with High Quality Pal Oil.

Selling Pals earns far more per run. Dumud Gild sells for a very high amount, more than many stronger Alpha Pals, and you can catch them along the north shore of Sakurajima or pull them from fishing. Turtacle Terra sells for slightly less but remains very valuable. You can also sell Soralite ore, though keeping it for crafting is usually smarter while you still need it.

Mining stations for ore, coal, sulfur, and quartz

Mining resources shift from manual to automatic as you climb levels. Each quarry replaces node hunting, and the ore station even upgrades into a stronger version.

Pure QuartzQuartz QuarryLevel 52

Before those unlock, mine grouped nodes. The desert near Alpha Suzaku packs several coal nodes together, and some strong sulfur spots also contain Pure Quartz, so you can gather both at once. If you still mine ore by hand, Mammorest boosts mining and lumbering while mounted, and Turtacle’s partner skill lowers ore weight.

Hardwood and Crude Oil

Hardwood is a new material and needs its own station. Logging Site II unlocks at level 43 and produces hardwood separately from the original Logging Site, so keep both running. For manual gathering, break trees in the desert-style zones near the center of the map. Sakura trees on Sakurajima also count as hardwood, as do most trees in higher-level regions.

Crude Oil is much easier than it used to be. The standard Crude Oil Extractor at level 50 needs an oil node, but the High-Pressure Crude Oil Extractor at level 51 pulls oil with no node at all. It draws more electricity in exchange for freeing your base from node placement. If you want maximum output, oil-node islands near the starting region and the desert coast still work best.

Chromite, Hexalite, Coralum, and Soralite

These late resources are less automated and often tied to specific biomes or tools.

Chromite has no simple base automation. Use Smokie, whose partner skill reveals nearby Chromite, and farm the caves on Feybreak Island, especially boss rooms and caves holding Pals that already drop it.

Hexalite Quartz automates through the Hexalite Quartz Mine at level 62. Before that, set up a base on nodes and ideally near a crude oil node, or mine it by hand in Feybreak dungeons.

Coralum Ore comes from salvage. Bring a swimming mount and Powerful Fishing Magnets, then ride the coast of Feybreak Island searching for underwater salvage spots. Each salvage consumes one magnet and returns Coralum, and Gelaroy’s partner skill improves the rewards.

Soralite sits in the Sky Island biome. The Soralite Quarry unlocks at level 72, but until then you can mine it manually. Aim the multi-cutter at the glowing weak spot on each node to break it fast, and build on areas where several nodes fall inside one base radius.

Ancient Civilization Parts, Manuscripts, and Cores

Ancient Civilization Parts drop from Alpha Pals. Any species with an Alpha boss version can drop them, and if you breed or hatch an Alpha of that same species, it shares the drop pool. That means you can breed Alpha Pals and butcher them for parts. Passives like Lavish Hospitality and Service-Minded raise the amount dropped when a Pal is butchered.

Ancient Pal Manuscripts mainly come from expeditions, so run the highest-level expeditions you can clear. Ancient Civilization Cores begin appearing in stronger expeditions, especially Astral Frost Cavern and beyond, which makes high-tier expeditions the best long-term source for these rare rewards.

Advanced cake ingredients

Basic cake ingredients should already be automated by mid-game, but Palworld 1.0 adds tougher cake types that need specific plants and ranch Pals.

CakeKey ingredients and source
Mushroom CakeMushrooms and cavern mushrooms from Shroomer
Vegetable CakeTomato and lettuce from plantations; Vaelet also makes seeds
Extravagant Vegetable CakePotatoes, onions, carrots from plantations; cotton candy from Woolipop
Special Cakes (level 70+)Caramel cotton candy from Woolipop Terra; Mammorest meat

Woolipop Terra is a new variant that produces caramel cotton candy, and you can breed it early using Woolipop and Killamari. For Mammorest meat, breed Mammorest in bulk and butcher them, again leaning on Lavish Hospitality and Service-Minded to increase yields.

Once these systems are running together, the endgame stops being about gathering and starts being about picking which base to expand next. Lock in the 1.9x spawn setting, keep your ranch Pals condensed and fed, and let the stations you unlock along the way carry the rest.
