Detective Duck SUMMER CAMP Walkthrough (Roblox Summer Case)

How the new Summer Case map works in Detective Duck and how to close it as the culprit.

How the new Summer Case map works in Detective Duck and how to close it as the culprit.

The Summer Case is the newest map in Detective Duck, the puzzle experience built around escape-room logic where every round ends with you naming the criminal. Billed by its team as “a nightmare,” the SUMMER CAMP setting drops you into a fresh crime scene that you clear the same way as every other room, by gathering clues, tracking who is lying, and making the correct accusation.

Quick answer: Search the whole map for clues and interactive objects, use them to work out which suspect is guilty, then accuse only that suspect. Naming the right criminal closes the case; accusing an innocent one can land you in jail instead.

What the SUMMER CAMP case is

SUMMER CAMP is a standalone map added during the game’s summer update. It follows the same format as earlier rooms like The Villa, The Prison, The Bank and The Motel, so if you have cleared those, the loop here will feel familiar. Each map is a self-contained mystery with its own layout, its own set of suspects and its own final answer.

The experience was last updated on July 24, 2026, and the Summer Case is the map being highlighted at launch. You do not need to unlock earlier rooms to attempt it.

How to play Detective Duck

Detective Duck is a puzzle game that plays like an escape room. You move around a map, interact with objects, and piece together what happened before pointing at the person responsible. It runs on mobile as well as PC, so touch controls are fully supported.

Group size (public)Solo or up to 5 players
Group size (private server)Up to 10 players

You can tackle SUMMER CAMP alone or bring friends. Playing in a group lets you split up and cover the map faster, which matters in a room built to be tough.

Solving the Summer Case

Sweep the entire camp before touching anything important. Walk each area and note every object you can interact with, since clues in these maps are usually spread across separate rooms rather than grouped together.

Collect and use the clues you find. Keys, notes and hidden items unlock further parts of the map, so each object you pick up tends to open the next step of the puzzle chain.
Compare the suspects against what the evidence tells you. Your goal in every Detective Duck room is to identify the one criminal, so narrow the list down until a single suspect fits all the clues.
Make the accusation only when you are confident. Accusing the correct suspect closes the case. Pointing at an innocent one can backfire and send you to jail, so avoid guessing.

Tip: If you are stuck, retrace the map for an object you skipped. These rooms are designed so every required clue is reachable, and a missing key or note is the most common reason a puzzle stalls.

Seasonal events tied to the summer update

The summer refresh brings limited-time events alongside the new map. Turning on notifications for the experience is the reliable way to catch them, since a couple run only for short windows.

How you know the case is solved

The case resolves the moment you correctly accuse the guilty suspect. If the round ends with you in jail instead, the accusation was wrong and you named an innocent camp resident, so revisit your clues before trying again.

New players also earn the WELCOME badge simply for joining, and returning the following day unlocks the EXPERIENCED DETECTIVE badge. A seven-day login streak grants the rare ROYAL DETECTIVE badge, which is worth chasing if you plan to work through the full lineup of maps.

Treat SUMMER CAMP the way you would any other Detective Duck room. Explore thoroughly, use every clue in order, and only accuse when the evidence points to one suspect. That patience is what separates a closed case from an unwanted trip to jail.
