A tested placement order to beat Razorjaw in Crow Hideout Hard Mode and farm Crow Relics.

Act 3 of the Villain Invasion event drops you into Crow Hideout on Hard Mode, where the boss Razorjaw closes out Wave 10 with a heavy health pool. You can finish this stage alone in a little over three minutes with a compact team built around farming units and a single high-damage carry. The event arrived with Update 0.5 in Anime Expeditions and runs until Saturday, August 1 at 4:00 PM.

Quick answer: Start Crow Hideout – Act 3 on Hard Mode, place two Stone Alchemists to farm, drop a Puppet (Telekinetic) with the Unbound trait near the central loop by Wave 3, keep upgrading, add an Ice Mage set to Boss priority when Razorjaw spawns on Wave 10, max the Puppet and place Shadow (Divine) for damage, then sell your Stone Alchemists on Wave 15 to fund Shadow and finish the boss.

Team and traits you need for the solo

The clear leans on cheap farming units early and a single scaling carry late. The most important piece is a Puppet (Telekinetic) carrying the Unbound trait, which clears the opening waves fast enough to let your economy build. Shadow (Divine) handles late-game damage once Razorjaw appears.

Note: The Unbound trait on the Puppet is what makes the early waves manageable without a second player. If you do not have it, the opening rounds become far harder to hold solo.

Solo placement order for Crow Hideout – Act 3

Enter Crow Hideout – Act 3 on Hard Mode and click Start Game. Immediately place two Stone Alchemists near the start of the track so your money begins building on the first waves.
By Wave 3, place the Puppet (Telekinetic) close to the central track loop. Positioned here, it covers enemies coming through the loop and carries the early defense while your farms pay out.
Through Waves 4 to 9, keep pumping upgrades into the Puppet and the two Stone Alchemists. Prioritize the Puppet’s damage so it can keep pace as enemy counts climb.
When Razorjaw spawns on Wave 10 with roughly 66.6k HP, place an Ice Mage and set its targeting to Boss priority. This keeps the boss slowed so your carry has time to build damage against it.
Max out the Puppet, then place Shadow (Divine) near the loop for high late-game damage. Shadow becomes your main source of DPS against the boss from this point.
Trigger the Puppet’s Complete Control ability whenever the pressure builds. The rewind stalls enemies on the track and buys time for your upgrades to catch up.
On Wave 15, sell both Stone Alchemists. Use the returned Yen to finish upgrading Shadow (Divine) so it can burst Razorjaw down and close the stage.

How to confirm the clear

A completed run ends on a Game Won screen showing the match stats. A clean solo lands near a 3 minute, 18 second clear, with totals around 141,521 Yen, 304 kills, and 5,655,191 total damage. Payout on the results screen includes 500x Villain Coins, 1,000x Unit EXP, and 145x Player EXP.

If the run fails, the usual cause is the opening waves. Without an Unbound Puppet holding the central loop, early enemies leak before your Stone Alchemists generate enough Yen to fund upgrades. Delaying the Ice Mage past Wave 10 also lets Razorjaw move too quickly for Shadow to finish it in time.

Act 3 drops and the Crow-Dawn secret stage

Beyond the flat event rewards, Act 3 has two notable rolls on each clear. The Predator’s Skull drops at a 2.5% chance with a 1/20 pity, and the Crow Relic also drops at a 2.5% chance. Crow Relics are the key item you collect here.

Those Crow Relics unlock entry to the hidden Crow-Dawn stage, the secret act tied to the Villain Invasion event. If your goal is Crow-Dawn access, repeat Act 3 until you bank enough relics to enter.

Farming rewards with AFK mode

When you need to step away, the AFK World lets you keep earning instead of getting kicked for being idle. Reach it by walking into the AFK Portal on the left side of the main lobby, next to the Story area. Standing still in the normal lobby for more than five minutes disconnects your profile, so the portal is the only way to farm while away.

Inside, the screen splits into Selected Stage and Session Rewards. The game auto-clears a stage you have already completed and repeats it on a timer based on your fastest clear, handing out coins, gems, and consumable items. A three-minute best time pays out fresh rewards every three minutes, so picking your quickest completed stage farms fastest.

Owning the VIP Gamepass for 320 Robux, or having Roblox Plus, speeds those payouts by 25%. Coins, gems, and consumables banked this way feed straight back into summoning, crafting, and general progression, turning idle time into upgrades you can spend when you return to grinding Villain Invasion.
