You travel to the correct map, walk to that spirit’s Gen 3 event scroll, wait for its countdown to hit zero, then beat the boss it spawns. Once the boss dies, the scroll turns colored in your inventory and the beast becomes equippable. The real challenge is not locating the scroll. It is dealing enough damage to finish the fight before the timer resets or another player steals the kill.
Quick answer: Equip a high-damage move like Apollo Sand’s third move or Shadow’s C Spec, go to the matching map, stand on the Gen 3 scroll until its label reads 00:00, start the boss, and burn it down.
