Haze Seas: How to Farm Gems Fast (Best Methods)

Redeem gem codes, claim daily and playtime rewards, then chain Sea Beast and Super Boss kills for steady gem income.

Redeem gem codes, claim daily and playtime rewards, then chain Sea Beast and Super Boss kills for steady gem income.

Gems are the currency that gates the strongest upgrades in Haze Seas, from Race V2 awakenings to meta Devil Fruits and Gear 5 abilities. They drip in slowly if you rely on a single method, so the quickest way to build a stockpile is to stack every free source first, then convert your active playtime into repeatable boss kills.

Quick answer: Redeem active gem codes, claim your daily login, playtime gifts, and Daily Quest milestone gifts, then farm Sea Beasts and Super Bosses once your build can clear them quickly. Your gem count in the bottom-left HUD should tick up after each claim or kill.

Gem sources ranked by speed and consistency

Each method fills a different role. Codes and dailies cost almost no time but cap out fast, while Sea Beast and Super Boss farming scales with how strong your character is. The table below shows what to expect from each.

Redeem gem codes first

Codes are the fastest one-time injection and need no combat. Redeem them at the start of any session, since new ones drop after updates and expire quickly.

Launch Haze Seas and open the Menu from the bottom-left HUD.
Tap the Codes gift icon.
Type an active code and press Redeem. A confirmation appears and your gem or reward count updates immediately if the code is valid.

PATCH25 Gems and a 15-minute Double EXP Boost
FREECASH50,000 Money (progression, not gems)

Other codes such as STATREFUND and DRAGONUPD circulate after content updates and may hand out boosts rather than gems. Enter them exactly as written, since codes are case-sensitive.

Daily login, quests, and playtime gifts

These are the most reliable zero-cost sources, but they only pay out when you actually claim them. Progress alone does not bank the reward.

Daily login streak

Claim the daily reward once every 24 hours. The streak compounds, and day five can pay out up to 150 gems. Missing a day resets your progress, so log in on a fixed schedule.

Daily Quest points

Completing Daily Quests earns Quest Points, and hitting milestones at 40, 80, 120, 160, and 200 points unlocks reward gifts that can contain gems. Open the Quests menu, finish the available tasks, then claim each milestone chest after you reach the threshold.

Playtime gifts

Playtime gifts unlock on a timer while you stay online, including during AFK time. Early gifts are small, but claiming the full set can include gems and even a Legendary Fruit. Open the Playtime Rewards menu and manually collect each unlocked gift.

Note: A tight two-to-three-minute routine covers all three. Log in, claim the daily, check the quest board, redeem any point gifts, then start your main farm.

Farm Sea Beasts and Super Bosses

Once dailies are done, active combat is where the bulk of your gems come from. Sea Beast encounters in Sea 2 and Sea 3 are the standout, awarding bounty plus roughly 30 gems per kill with no daily cooldown, so you can chain them while sailing open water.

Super bosses add a smaller flat gem reward on top of their item drops. Treat them as a supplement rather than your only engine, since payouts vary by boss and event type.

Mace BossSea 1 (key-gated cave)15

At Level 700+, key-gated bosses around Marine Ford and Lavell Marine Base become viable and award roughly 20 gems per clear. You farm keys first, but by Level 900+ this land loop competes with Sea Beasts if your build handles the rotation cleanly. Watch for the gem line in the reward pop-up after a kill to confirm the payout landed.

Build prep for faster boss loops

Boss farming only pays off when you can kill quickly without dying. Reaching that point faster comes down to a few setup steps.

Level with a fruit or moveset that clears groups of enemies at once, so you hit boss-ready strength sooner.
Hold any 2X EXP boost until around level 175, where the grind gets heavier and the multiplier saves the most time.
Pick up Buso Haki on Logue Town before fighting Logia bosses such as the Ice Admiral, since it lets you land hits on them.
Grab Observation Haki on the Smoke bosses island for dodges and to see boss and player positions, health, and levels.
Farm Super Boss spawn items from the Ice Admiral and Smoke bosses, which drop at about a 5% rate and usually take 10–20 kills.
Once your damage and survivability are steady, spend your active time chaining Sea Beast and Super Boss kills back to back.

Where to spend gems and what to avoid

Gems stay scarce even in the late game, so spend them on permanent power before anything cosmetic or situational. A clear priority order keeps you from wasting a hard-earned stockpile.

  • Race V2 awakening, a permanent power spike.
  • Meta Devil Fruits, but only when the fruit fits your build.
  • Limited events and guaranteed upgrades, keeping a buffer for patch windows.
  • Accessory crafts, after your core combat upgrades are covered.

The costliest mistake is spinning gems early before you have committed to a build. Repeated early spins drain the same currency you need later for expensive awakening routes. Gear 5, for example, costs 150 gems per ability across 7 abilities, or 1,050 gems in total.

The other common slip is leaving rewards unclaimed. Daily Quest milestone gifts and playtime gifts only count once you collect them, so check both menus before and after a long session. Stack the free sources every day, farm Sea Beasts when you want speed, and redeem codes before they expire, and your gem balance will grow far faster than relying on any single method.
