The current week of ARC Raiders Season 5 Trials runs from July 27 to August 3, 2026, and one of its five challenges asks you to do something refreshingly simple. Find Raider Caches, crack them open, and bank the score. These crates hold weapons, blueprints, healing items, and other supplies, but for the trial all that matters is the interaction itself. After the Trials rework stripped out the old 2x score multiplier, there is no shortcut left. You farm caches the honest way.

Quick answer: Load Dam Battlegrounds during the Hurricane map condition, open five Raider Caches at 800 Trials points each to reach the 4,000-point three-star threshold, and extract before your elevator closes.

Where to run the Search Raider Caches trial

Dam Battlegrounds is the map you want. It carries the highest concentration of Raider Caches, and its ARC patrols are relaxed enough that a lightly geared Raider can loop the map without picking fights. Pair it with the Hurricane map condition. Hurricane keeps the cache loot pool rich and lets you travel light, which is the whole point when you are covering ground rather than holding it.

Each Raider Cache you interact with adds 800 Trials points. That math puts the three-star target at five caches. There is no multiplier to chase anymore, so the fastest route is simply the one that hits the most caches with the least backtracking.

You are not here to win gunfights. You are here to walk to boxes and touch them. A free loadout works fine, and the only thing you really cannot skip is mobility. Bring plenty of Adrenaline Shots so your stamina stays topped off across long stretches of the map.

Note: skipping the shield only makes sense under Hurricane, where the trial is quick and the risk is low. On any other condition, pack Shield Rechargers instead. A low-level Anvil or Bettina is enough to clear Wasps, Hornets, and Fireflies. Steer clear of heavier ARC like Bombardiers and Bastions, since you will not be carrying the firepower to deal with them.

The route to hit 4,000 points

Deploy onto Dam Battlegrounds during the Hurricane condition. Caches make a distinct beeping sound, and the alarm grows louder the closer you get, so let your ears do the searching as much as your eyes.
Right after landing, check which extraction elevator has the most time left before it closes. This decides how far you can safely roam and where your loop should end.
Head to the Raider Cache nearest your spawn, then run a single loop across the map. Following a circuit means you clear most of the map’s active cache spawns without doubling back.

Interact with every cache you pass, even ones another Raider already emptied. A previously opened cache still awards the full 800 Trials points, so never walk past one.
Keep tabs on your extraction timer as you go. Once you clear 4,000 points, or if the timer starts pressing you, head for the elevator and get out.

The map’s cache spawns cluster together, but usually only one cache is active per cluster. Sweep each cluster quickly, confirm the single spawn, and move on rather than combing every corner. Solo Raiders comfortably push well past the three-star line, and a coordinated duo or trio can split the map into sections and rack up far more.

How to confirm the trial is complete

Your Trials score updates the moment you finish searching a cache, and the third star fills once you cross 4,000 points. Five caches gets you there. Because your score is locked in as you loot, the trial credit does not depend on a clean extraction, but you still want to leave alive to keep the gear and loot you gathered along the way.

The one common mistake is greed. Chasing a sixth or seventh cache after the timer turns red is how Raiders miss their extraction or run into a full squad. Bank the five, watch the elevator clock, and treat every extra cache beyond the threshold as a bonus rather than the goal.
