Fishing Frenzy is a limited-time event in Neverness to Everness built around catching fish in bulk to raise your fishing level and bank rewards. It layers new catching methods on top of the standard rod, letting you clear the water faster while stacking Catch Points toward fresh fishing skills.

Quick answer: Fishing Frenzy runs from August 3, 5:00 until August 19, 5:59 (Server Time). Take part by catching fish with harpoons, nets, and throwables to earn event rewards plus Catch Points that unlock fishing skills.

How catching works during the event

A rod is only the starting point. During Fishing Frenzy you can switch to harpoons, nets, and throwables to pull in large amounts of fish at once. The tagline sums up the design well: there’s more than one way to land your catch.

Every catch feeds two tracks at the same time. You raise your fishing level, and you accumulate Catch Points that carry over into the event’s skill unlocks. Because the different tools clear fish quickly, the event is an efficient way to push your fishing level up in a short span.

Catch Points and fishing skills

Catch Points are the event currency you build up as you fish. Spend them to unlock new fishing skills, which improve how you catch going forward. Reward drops are separate from Catch Points, so catching pays out on both fronts as you go.

Events running at the same time

Fishing Frenzy overlaps with a second short event, so you can chase both in the same period. Warren Lucky Flip opens two days later and closes on the same day.

Note: Because rewards and Catch Points only accrue while the event is live, aim to finish your fishing runs before the August 19 cutoff so nothing is left unclaimed.
