Fortnite v41.30 Patch Notes: New Sprites and Spider-Man Brand New Day Collab

Three fresh Sprites, a Spider-Man crossover, and Springfield Reloaded all land with the July 30 update for Chapter 7 Season 3.

Three fresh Sprites, a Spider-Man crossover, and Springfield Reloaded all land with the July 30 update for Chapter 7 Season 3.

The v41.30 update is the third major patch for Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3, and it arrives packed with new content. Expect three brand new Sprites, a Spider-Man: Brand New Day crossover, a Simpsons-themed Reload map, and Festival Season 15 headlined by Lil Tecca.

Quick answer: Fortnite v41.30 goes live on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at 4 AM PT / 7 AM ET, following roughly two hours of server downtime. The new Sprites unlock a little later, around 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET.

v41.30 downtime and release schedule

Servers go offline for scheduled maintenance ahead of the patch, with matchmaking disabled while the update deploys. Downtime runs for about two hours, and the game comes back online around 4 AM PT / 7 AM ET on July 30.

Note: Chapter 7 Season 3 has usually staggered its New Sprite Day reset a bit after the patch itself is live, so the Sprites appear on the Island after maintenance wraps, not the instant servers return.

Three new Sprites arriving July 30

Epic has confirmed three new Sprites for v41.30. Two of them will ship with additional variants to collect, while the third is set to become the hardest Sprite to find in the game.

The headline addition is the Quack Zero Point Sprite. Zero Point is reportedly the only Sprite in the game to receive a Quack variant, which could push it past the Galaxy Zero Point and Pollo Sprites as the rarest overall. The Llama and Peely Sprites are each expected to come with variants such as Gold, Gummy, Galaxy, and Holofoil, though those extras are not yet locked in.

SpriteAbility
Quack Zero PointSpawns a Shield Bubble Jr. when you use a healing item on yourself; may also boost players standing in water
PeelyCould increase revive speed for a downed player by 10%
LlamaCould grant a 1-2% chance for extra materials or loot when breaking structures with your Pickaxe

The exact rarity of the Llama and Peely Sprites has not been announced, though some expect them to land at Mythic. Sprites are collected at Extraction Sites or with Portable Extractors, and you can also pick them up from other players after eliminating them while a Sprite is equipped.

A Power Hour is also scheduled for August 1, 2026, with details held back for now. It could apply boosted stats that help with Sprite Mastery, but nothing about its effects has been confirmed.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day collab and Sprite

A major Spider-Man crossover ties into the theatrical release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which opens the day after the update. A Spider-Man Brand New Day Outfit is expected as part of the lineup, and Punisher and Grey Hulk cosmetics may join the roster too.

The most talked-about piece is a Spider-Man Sprite. Datamined gameplay tags labeled “Sprite Net” point to swinging behavior, meaning the Sprite’s ability would let you web-swing through the air much like the Web Shooters. That mirrors how the Batman Sprite launches players upward and lets them glide a short distance.

Large map changes are unlikely with this collab, and a dedicated point of interest such as the Daily Bugle is not expected.

Springfield Reloaded joins Reload

The Simpsons Springfield map returns to Fortnite, this time built for Reload mode under the name Springfield Reloaded. It goes live shortly after downtime ends, though Epic is expected to fold in some notable changes rather than a straight port.

Leaks point to Re-Openable Chests coming to Reload, which players could reopen after a short cooldown, similar to bins resetting in Apex Legends when a zone closes. There is also chatter that the John Wick Sprite could be exclusive to Reload, and that a Midas Sprite is in development. Epic is scheduled to share more about Springfield Reloaded on July 29, 2026.

Festival Season 15 with Lil Tecca

Fortnite Festival rolls into Season 15 with Lil Tecca as the ICON artist. The collaboration brings new Jam Tracks, cosmetics, and a brand new Main Stage into the mode.

New weekly and story quests

Fresh quests arrive with the patch as Chapter 7 Season 3 winds down. New weekly and story challenges give you extra XP to finish the Runners Battle Pass, and additional Hot Bat Summer quests from the DC Summer event join the lineup as well.

With the Sprites unlocking on New Sprite Day, the Spider-Man crossover tied to the film’s opening, and Springfield Reloaded landing in Reload, v41.30 is one of the busier drops of the season. Servers return early on July 30, so plan around the two-hour maintenance window if you want to hunt the Quack Zero Point Sprite the moment it appears.
