Apex Legends Season 30, titled Marked, turns one of the game’s original trackers into a full hunter. Bloodhound gets a top-to-bottom rework, Loba and Rampart pick up speed-focused buffs, and a new Corrupted Attachments system adds risk-and-reward power to weapons. World’s Edge also shifts into a nighttime, aurora-lit version with new and returning points of interest.
Quick answer: The Marked update is built around Bloodhound’s rework (new glowing-trail Passive, longer scans, and a team-wide cloaking Ultimate called Allfather’s Cloak), plus Corrupted Attachments, an energy-weapon overhaul, streamlined looting, a World’s Edge map update, and buffs to Loba and Rampart. It launches in early August 2026.

Bloodhound rework: new Passive, Tactical, and Ultimate
Bloodhound keeps the tracker identity but every ability has been retuned to match the faster pace of modern Apex. The core loop is simpler now. The abilities handle the tracking so you can focus on the kill.
The Passive now makes enemies leave a clear glowing trail as they move, replacing the older, harder-to-read movement marks. White Ravens also fly further and no longer need a scan or physical touch to activate. A quick glance is enough to send them out toward nearby enemies.
The Tactical scan holds targets longer. After the initial full-body scan finishes, it delivers follow-up “snapshot” scans that keep enemies visible for an extended window. That makes it much harder for a lone player to break contact and escape a Bloodhound squad.
The biggest change is the Ultimate. Beast of the Hunt is gone, replaced by the Allfather’s Cloak. It deploys a device that cloaks any Legend who enters its range, granting bonus movement speed and threat vision. Players are not fully invisible, there is a blue shimmer and an audio cue for nearby enemies, and the effect lasts up to 12 seconds after leaving the area. Taking damage or firing a weapon removes the cloak instantly.
Three new Upgrades sharpen the kit further, letting Bloodhound refresh the Tactical during the Ult, send extra ravens after a second squad, and recloak after shooting.
| Upgrade | Effect |
|---|---|
| Hidden Sight | Refreshes the Tactical when the Ultimate is used and hides that use from enemy detection |
| Bird’s Eye | Sends White Ravens to scout a second enemy squad independently |
| True Predator | Lets Bloodhound recloak after firing a weapon |

Add to Google Preferences →Loba and Rampart buffs
Bloodhound is not the only older Legend getting attention. Both Loba and Rampart receive smaller changes built around mobility, which should help them keep pace with newer Legends.
| Legend | Changes in Season 30 |
|---|---|
| Loba | Black Market Ultimate cooldown reduced, so the squad can restock more often. Her Tactical bracelet now flies faster and covers more ground for cleaner repositioning. |
| Rampart | Moves faster while carrying the mobile Sheila minigun. Her Amped Cover walls build faster and absorb more damage. |
Loba’s shorter Ultimate cooldown pairs well with the season’s loot changes, giving her team more consistent access to gear. Rampart’s added mobility lets her set up defensive space in a fight without giving up as much positioning.
Corrupted Attachments, energy weapons, and looting changes
Corrupted Attachments are the headline weapon feature. Each one is a trade-off. It raises one stat on a gun in a big way while lowering another to compensate, and you can only fit one Corrupted Attachment per weapon. The idea is to add a looting decision beyond your usual amp and mag, forcing you to weigh whether the boost is worth the drawback.

To make those choices readable, weapons now display visible stat numbers, so you can see exactly how an attachment changes a gun’s performance. Energy weapons have also been completely reworked. Guns that use energy ammo now regenerate ammunition over time, which means running dry no longer forces you to scramble for pickups before a fight.
Looting itself is being streamlined. Support and Assault Bins, Explosive Holds, loot bin resets, and wildlife loot are all removed, and remaining loot sources are rebalanced. Late-game loot delivery is dialed down as well, pushing squads to commit to the loadout they already have.
World’s Edge map update
World’s Edge shifts into a nighttime look with an aurora borealis filling the sky and old-god aesthetics tied to Bloodhound’s tribe. The layout gets three brand-new points of interest alongside returning fan favorites.
| POI | Detail |
|---|---|
| Climatizer (East Village) | New POI with East Village’s distinct architecture and a massive Longhouse |
| War Camp | New arena-style showdown that takes over Survey Camp |
| Tree Settlement | New POI built around vertical movement gameplay |
| Sorting Factory | Returns to compete with Fragment as a drop spot |
| Construction Stacks | Re-emerges within Fragment |
| Big Maude (Landslide) | Rampart parks Big Maude on top of Landslide |
The changes are framed in the game’s lore, with Hammond Robotics pushing industrial recovery efforts into World’s Edge while Bloodhound’s tribe rebuilds its own settlements in response.
Release window and roadmap
Marked is set to go live in early August 2026, arriving with a new Battle Pass that includes fresh skins for Legends such as Bloodhound and Caustic. Apex Legends is free to play on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC through the EA app, Epic, and Steam. Full details are posted on the official Apex Legends update page.
Looking further out, Respawn has confirmed that Ranked Updates are coming to Season 31, with a larger Major Ranked Update planned for Season 32. The Season 30 blog is an early preview rather than the complete patch notes, so expect finer balance numbers to land closer to launch. What is already clear is that Bloodhound is the centerpiece, and a squad running the Allfather’s Cloak could reshape how teams push and reposition in the early days of Marked.
