The Pop City Star Path brings a bright, city-themed batch of cosmetics to Disney Dreamlight Valley, and its routine duties are the extra layer of missions that unlock seven bonus vault rewards. Unlike the main event duties, which are all live the moment the event starts, routine duties arrive on a fixed weekly schedule, so you can only chip away at them as each set becomes available.
Quick answer: A fresh set of three routine duties unlocks every Wednesday for the first seven weeks of the event, beginning July 29. Finish all three in a week to claim that week’s vault reward. On the Basic track you must clear each week in order; the Premium track lets you complete them in any order.

When Pop City routine duties unlock
Routine duties appear alongside the standard Pop City duties, but they roll out over seven weeks rather than all at once. Each new set goes live on a Wednesday at 8am CT / 1pm UTC, and every set contains three missions. The event began on July 29, 2026, so the Week 1 duties are already available.
You unlock the next week’s duties by finishing every duty from the previous week. That order requirement matters on the Basic track. If you start late, you can catch up week by week without waiting, but you still have to clear them in sequence. Buying the Premium Star Path removes that restriction, letting you tackle any available routine duties in whatever order you like.

The opening Candy Rush! set leans on Vanellope and sugary crafting. Completing all three duties awards Event Tokens and unlocks the first vault reward.
| Task | How to complete | Quantity | Tokens |
|---|---|---|---|
| Talk to the President of Sugar Rush. | Have one daily chat with Vanellope. | 1 | 25 |
| Cook some Candy. | Cook Candy. | 25 | 25 |
| Craft Deluxe Sugar Cookie Pavement. | Craft Deluxe Sugar Cookie Pavement or Sugar Cookie Pavement. | 50 | 50 |
The duties for Weeks 2 through 7 stay hidden until their listed Wednesday. Their exact tasks are not published ahead of their release, so there is no confirmed detail for those sets yet.
All Pop City vault rewards
Vault rewards are returning items pulled from past Star Paths. There are seven of them tied to the routine duties, and each one unlocks after you check off three routine duties, which lines up with clearing a single week. Three of the seven sit behind the Premium track and are marked below.
| Unlock date | Reward | Type | Track |
|---|---|---|---|
| July 29 | Rock Concert Stage | Furniture | Basic |
| Aug 5 | Rock Star Bottom | Clothing | Premium |
| Aug 12 | Punk Cut | Clothing | Basic |
| Aug 19 | 4*Town Illuminated Billboard | Furniture | Premium |
| Aug 26 | Theater Stage Lights | Furniture | Basic |
| Sept 2 | Punk Princess Jacket | Clothing | Premium |
| Sept 9 | Luminous Dance Flooring | Furniture | Basic |
How to confirm a reward unlocked
Each duty pays out its Event Tokens the moment you meet its quantity, and the mission is marked complete in the routine duties list. Once all three duties in a week show as done, that week’s vault reward becomes claimable on the Vault Rewards page. If a vault reward still looks locked, the most common reasons are an unfinished duty in the current week, or a Premium-only reward while you are on the Basic track.
Note: On the Basic track the next week will not open until the current week is fully cleared, so a “missing” week almost always means one earlier duty is still outstanding. Premium removes the order requirement entirely.
With three duties a week across seven weeks, the routine duties are a slow burn rather than a one-sitting grind. Log in each Wednesday, clear the new trio, and you will collect all seven vault items by the time the Wreck-It Ralph! set lands in September.
