San Diego Border Roleplay: How to Make Money Fast (Smuggling Method)

The full smuggling loop that turns cheap black market goods into laundered cash without triggering a wanted level.

The full smuggling loop that turns cheap black market goods into laundered cash without triggering a wanted level.

The quickest cash in San Diego Border Roleplay comes from running smuggled goods across the border and selling them to a buyer on the other side. You buy cheap items at the black market, sneak them past the checkpoint through an underground tunnel, hand them to a smuggler, then clean the money at the Laundromat. Done in one loop, it turns a small outlay into thousands of dollars.

Quick answer: Buy Fake Diamond Rings from the Black Market Goods shop, drive to the border and cross on foot through the tunnel to avoid detection, sell the goods to the NPC on the Autoshop parking garage roof, then walk into the Laundromat to launder the payout.

What you need before the run

You need starting cash to buy goods, a vehicle to reach the border, and knowledge of the tunnel crossing. The black market items each carry a detection rating, which is the chance the border patrol flags you if you drive through the checkpoint carrying them.

ItemCostDetection
Fake Diamond Ring$1,000 each45%
Crowbar$1,00045%

Both items sit in the Black Market Goods shop, next to the Weapon Shop near the Laundromat. Buying five Fake Diamond Rings gives you a full batch to sell in a single trip.

The smuggling run, start to finish

Head into the Black Market Goods shop and buy five Fake Diamond Rings at the jewelry box table. Each one costs $1,000, so a full batch of five runs $5,000. A confirmation reading “Purchased Fake Diamond Ring!” appears each time.

Leave the shop and open the Spawn Vehicle menu in the parking lot. Pick a fast car, such as the Beamer M135X, which tops out at 155 mph and reaches 60 in 4.7 seconds. Speed shortens the drive to and from the border.
Drive toward the border, then leave the highway and follow the dirt path off-road to the border fence. Park next to the small white house that sits right beside the fence.

Get out, enter the white house, and go down into the underground tunnel. Run through the long concrete tunnel to reach the far side. Crossing on foot here means you never pass the checkpoint, so the goods are never detected and you avoid a wanted level.
Exit the tunnel on the other side and spawn your vehicle again. Drive along the dirt road onto the paved highway and into the multi-level parking garage marked “Autoshop.” Take the ramps all the way up to the roof.

On the roof, walk up to the NPC dressed in black standing near the edge. This is the smuggler who buys your goods. Selling five smuggled items pays out around $7,617.
Drive back across to your starting area and enter the Laundromat. Laundering converts the smuggling payout into usable cash, shown by a “Laundered $7,617” notification and your balance updating in the top-right corner.

Why the tunnel crossing matters

Each black market item has a 45% detection rating, which is the risk that Border Patrol agents catch you if you carry the goods straight through the checkpoint. Getting flagged means an inspection and a wanted level, which puts the run and your cargo at risk. The tunnel bypasses the checkpoint entirely, so the detection percentage never comes into play. Parking at the white house and going underground on foot is the reliable way to move goods without being stopped.

How to confirm the run worked

Two on-screen notifications confirm each half of the loop. The first, “Sold 5 smuggled goods for $7,617,” appears when you hand the items to the rooftop smuggler. The second, “Laundered $7,617,” appears at the Laundromat, and your cash balance in the top-right corner rises by the laundered amount. If you never see the sell notification, you either did not reach the correct NPC on the Autoshop roof or you were not carrying any goods.

Do not try to auto-farm this

San Diego Border Roleplay is free to play on Roblox with up to 50 players per server, and the developers actively moderate it. Using exploits, cheats, or auto-farm scripts to grind money leads to a ban. Run the smuggling loop manually, and repeat it as many times as you like to build up cash safely.

The loop scales with how much you invest up front. Buy a larger batch of Fake Diamond Rings, cross once through the tunnel, and sell them all in a single trip to the rooftop smuggler before laundering the total. Keep a fast car on hand, and the whole cycle takes barely more than a minute per trip.
