The glass dance floor in FD6 The Skyview Experience is designed to give way at the peak of the party, and when it drops most players fall with it. There are four spots along that floor where you can grab onto a beam instead, triggering the hanging animation and changing how the moment plays out for your character.
Quick answer: Stand behind the woman with glasses on the top edge, between the black-suit man and blonde ponytail couple, next to the character in the purple dress on the north beam, or at the dead center where all the beams cross. Hold your position before the collapse to catch a beam.
All four positions sit close together on the same floor, so you can pick whichever is easiest to reach once the dance begins. Catching a beam still depends on your exact angle and how your character is facing, so square yourself up before the final cutscene triggers.
Spot 1: Behind the woman with glasses on the top edge
This is the most reliable and popular position. Once the dancing starts, move up to the top floor and look for the woman wearing glasses standing near the far edge. Slot yourself directly behind her and stay put. When the floor gives out, your character grabs the beam instead of dropping.

Add to Google Preferences →Spot 2: Between the dancing couple on the left
From the first spot, turn to your right and find the pair dancing together. One is a man in a black suit and the other is a blonde girl with a ponytail. Step in between them and hold that gap. Facing the floor beam correctly here lets you catch it as the platform collapses.

Spot 3: The north beam near the purple dress
Head toward the top of the north beam and stand next to the character wearing a purple or violet dress. That NPC dances and drifts around, so do not rely on their position alone. Anchor yourself to the north side of the beam at the bottom instead, which keeps you lined up even when the dancer moves.

Spot 4: Dead center where the beams cross
The last option is the exact middle of the dance floor. You can spot it easily because every beam under the glass meets at that single point. Push through the crowd of NPCs and squeeze into the center to secure the position before the collapse.

How to confirm the hang worked
When you land in the right position and angle, your character grabs a beam and plays the hanging animation as the floor falls away rather than dropping with the crowd. Surviving the collapse this way is also tied to the “Raindrops keep falling on my head!” badge, which is awarded for falling during the dance floor collapse.
If you miss the beam, it usually comes down to angle or facing rather than the spot itself. Reset into one of the four positions, square your character toward the beam, and stay still until the collapse cutscene begins. Center and the top-edge position behind the woman with glasses tend to be the most consistent when the timing is tight.
