Lead Feet is back in Volleyball Legends for another limited run, and it is the only Secret-rarity ability that carries a multi-use charge meter. When you activate it in the air, your character drops straight to the floor almost instantly, which turns it into a fake-jump and repositioning tool for both attacking and defending. The catch is that it only sticks around for a short window, so pulling it means committing spins now rather than later.
Quick answer: Reach Level 15, open the Ability menu, select Lead Feet under the Secret drop-down, and roll Lucky Ability Spins (0.5% each) before the window closes on August 15, 2026. A guaranteed Secret drops at the Secret pity of 200 Lucky Ability Spins, or 100 during a weekend 2x Luck event.
Availability window and requirements
Lead Feet first launched in Update 56 and has returned a few times since. This rerun keeps it in the pool until August 15, 2026, after which it leaves the spin pool again with no confirmed next return date. It is currently the only limited Secret ability in the game.
Before you can roll for any Secret ability, your account must be at least Level 15. Each standard Ability Spin costs 250 Yen, while Lucky Ability Spins come from the Season Pass, codes, Robux, or gifts. You can launch the game and start spinning from the official Volleyball Legends Roblox page.

Lead Feet is a Secret rarity pull, so the base odds are low. Lucky Ability Spins give far better chances than standard spins, and both improve during the weekend 2x Luck event. Selecting Lead Feet from the Secret drop-down before spinning nudges the preference system toward it, though it never guarantees the roll.
| Spin type | Normal chance | During 2x Luck |
|---|---|---|
| Ability Spin | 0.01% | 0.02% |
| Lucky Ability Spin | 0.5% | 1% |
The 2x Luck & Pity event runs every weekend, starting at 11:30 AM EST Saturday and ending 11:30 AM EST Monday. It doubles Secret chances and halves pity requirements, making weekends the most efficient time to spend Lucky Ability Spins.
Secret pity: the guaranteed route
If the odds do not cooperate, pity gives you a hard ceiling. Every 200 Lucky Ability Spins triggers a randomized Secret pity that awards a random Secret ability, dropping to 100 Lucky Ability Spins during a 2x Luck weekend. Unlike style pity, there is no coinflip or guaranteed pick here. You can only select Lead Feet to raise its odds within that pity roll, so it is possible to hit pity and receive a different Secret.
Because Lead Feet stays available for roughly two weeks, you have time to grind Yen for spins or bank Lucky Ability Spins from codes and level rewards before pushing toward pity.
Rolling for Lead Feet
How the charge meter works
Lead Feet stores up to three charges on a single full meter, which is what makes it unique. When the meter is full, a dedicated indicator appears on the UI, and you can activate the ability up to three times in a row before it needs to refill.
Like every ability in the game, Lead Feet charges by touching the ball or scoring a point after having the last touch. Passive charging during a match is very slow, so staying active on the court is the only reliable way to keep the meter topped up. Two balance passes have slowed that fill rate over time.
| Date | Change |
|---|---|
| March 28, 2026 | Charge speed nerfed by 50% |
| June 27, 2026 | Charge time increased by 50% |
Using Lead Feet in matches
Activate the ability while you are mid-air and your character snaps straight back down to the floor. That instant grounding lets you fake a jump when attacking or defending, correct a mistimed jump, and reposition quickly to cover the court. Chaining two or three charges in a row is what creates the strongest bait sequences.
The ability is style-agnostic, so it fits any playstyle for offense or defense. Common pairings include spikers like Riku, Jinko, Kazana, and Kijo, but the trigger timing matters more than the style. If you are new to it, practice the drop timing in casual matches before taking it into ranked, since spending all three charges on the first jump wastes its main advantage.
Note: Once August 15, 2026 passes, Lead Feet leaves the spin pool and there is no official date for its next return, so this window is the time to lock it in if you want it.
