Grow a Garden 2: How to Get the Amber Cranberry and Its Amber Mutation

What the Super-rarity Fall Harvest crop costs, its sell values, and how its passive mutation works.

What the Super-rarity Fall Harvest crop costs, its sell values, and how its passive mutation works.

The Amber Cranberry is a Super rarity crop added to Grow a Garden 2 with the Fall Harvest update. It is a multi-harvest plant that keeps producing fruit after each pick, and while its seed carries one of the steepest prices in the game, it doubles as a passive mutation engine for the rest of your garden.

Quick answer: Buy the Amber Cranberry Seed from the Fall Harvest Seed Shop inside the Fall Harvest World for 140,000,000 Sheckles or 1,599 Robux, but wait for a shop refresh where it appears, since it has only a 0.07% chance to stock.

Where to buy the Amber Cranberry Seed

The seed is sold only through the Fall Harvest Seed Shop, which sits inside the Fall Harvest World rather than the main map. You reach that world through an event teleport, then browse the shop for the seed to appear in stock.

Find Explorer Ethan in the main world and talk to him to open the event travel option.
Travel to the Fall Harvest World, then open the Fall Harvest Seed Shop.
Wait for a shop refresh where the Amber Cranberry Seed is listed, then buy it for 140,000,000 Sheckles or 1,599 Robux.

Having the currency is not enough on its own. The Amber Cranberry has just a 0.07% chance to appear on any given shop refresh, so most visits will not show it. Keep checking after each restock until it stocks, which makes it one of the rarest seeds you can currently obtain.

Amber Cranberry stats and sell values

As a multi-harvest crop, the Amber Cranberry stays in your garden after you pick its fruit. It keeps regrowing over time, so a single planted seed becomes a repeating Sheckle source without replanting.

Decay timer: sell before the fruit expires

Each harvested fruit follows a decay cycle. It holds its full quality in the Prime state for 4 minutes after you pick it, then begins to lose value. The fruit fully expires after 6 hours and 44 minutes, so sell your harvest well before that window closes to keep the highest payout.

The Amber Mutation passive ability

The Amber Cranberry’s standout trait is a passive that works on your whole garden. While an Amber Cranberry is planted, every growing fruit around it has a 5% chance to gain the Amber Mutation.

The effect triggers on its own, so you do not need to activate anything or manage a weather event. Over time it raises the value of your other crops in the background, which is what justifies the high seed price for players planning a long-term farm.

Note: because the mutation roll is a flat 5% per fruit, planting more nearby crops gives the ability more chances to land, spreading Amber Mutations across a fuller garden.

Between its multi-harvest income, roughly 7,000 Sheckles per fruit, and a passive that keeps mutating everything around it, the Amber Cranberry rewards patience more than a quick flip. The hardest part is simply catching it in stock, so the practical plan is to bank your Sheckles, keep refreshing the Fall Harvest Seed Shop, and buy the moment that 0.07% roll finally puts the seed in front of you.
