The Predator’s Skull is a Secret Unit Equipment added in the Villain Update (0.5) for Anime Expeditions. It is built for a single unit, Razorjaw (Hunter), and it raises that unit’s Damage and Range while swapping its default passive for a periodic area attack that keeps stacking Critical Chance over the course of a fight.
Quick answer: Clear Act 3 (“Act 3 – Sword”) of the limited-time Crow Hideout game mode. Each clear has a 2.5% drop chance, and if it hasn’t dropped by your 20th completed run, the pity system guarantees it.

Where the Predator’s Skull drops
Crow Hideout is the event mode introduced with Villain Update (0.5). It splits into four acts, and each act features a different villain fight. The Predator’s Skull only comes from Act 3, so clearing the other acts will not produce it.
| Detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Source mode | Crow Hideout (Villain Update 0.5) |
| Required act | Act 3 – Sword |
| Drop chance per clear | 2.5% |
| Pity | Guaranteed on the 20th completed run |
| Equips on | Razorjaw (Hunter) only |
Note: Crow Hideout is a limited-time mode. There is no confirmed return window, so farm it while it is live.

You know it worked when the Predator’s Skull appears in your equipment inventory. From there it can be attached to Razorjaw (Hunter). If it isn’t dropping, the most common reason is running the wrong act, since only Act 3 – Sword awards it.
Stats and rerolls
The Predator’s Skull rolls with two randomized substats when you obtain it. Both can be improved later using Equipment Rerolls, so a weak initial roll is not permanent.
| Substat | Range |
|---|---|
| Range | +1% to +5% |
| Damage | +1% to +10% |

What the Roar passive does
Equipping the Predator’s Skull replaces Razorjaw (Hunter)’s original passive with an exclusive Equipment Passive called Roar. It fires automatically on a fixed timer, so no manual input is required.
- Every 10 seconds, unleashes a Full AoE Roar dealing 70% of Razorjaw (Hunter)’s current Damage to all enemies in range.
- Applies Stagger to every enemy hit for 2 seconds.
- For each enemy struck by a Roar, Razorjaw (Hunter) gains 1% Critical Chance.
- Critical Chance from Roar stacks up to a maximum of 30%.
Because the Critical Chance builds off the number of targets each Roar hits, the passive scales best on stages with dense enemy groups. The more enemies caught in a single Roar, the faster Razorjaw (Hunter) reaches the 30% cap and starts landing crits more often as the battle continues.
For the fastest route to owning it, keep running Act 3 – Sword until either luck or the 20-run pity hands you the Predator’s Skull, then slot it onto Razorjaw (Hunter) and reroll the Damage and Range substats when you have the Equipment Rerolls to spare.
