Every Harpoon Gun in Fisch, including where it sits on the map, what it costs, and the stats that matter for hunting Roamers.

Harpoon Guns are the ranged way to catch Roaming Fish in Fisch. Instead of casting a rod, you fire a harpoon at a moving target, hook it, and finish the PULL minigame to reel it in. There are seven of them spread across the map, and each one has its own price, unlock condition, and stat spread that decides how easily it lands big catches.

Quick answer: Six Harpoon Guns are bought from fixed spots on specific islands, and the Relic Piercer is crafted at the Ancient Archives. The Steady Harpoon Gun at Roslit Bay is the cheapest entry point at C$9,000, while the Crystal Crasher at Crystal Cove is the most expensive at C$2,400,000.

Harpoon Gun stats compared

Six stats decide how a Harpoon Gun performs. Power raises pull progress, Range sets how far you can fire, Reload Time controls how fast you can shoot again, Velocity affects projectile speed and input timing, Accuracy makes the pull buttons larger, and Resilience changes how quickly those buttons move. Max Weight caps the size of Roamer you can land.

Each gun also carries a passive that shapes how it plays. The Fungal Harpoon Gun slows the pull buttons during the minigame, which offsets its weak raw stats. The Frost Biter freezes the pull meter briefly after every successful input. The Great Dream Waker boosts pull progress but speeds up the buttons, making inputs harder. The Crystal Crasher starts weak and needs two presses per prompt until it fully charges, after which it becomes one of the strongest options. The Relic Piercer fires a piercing shot that fills the meter fast, and the Trident Striker’s 50,000kg cap is built for the largest Roamers. The Steady Harpoon Gun has no passive.

Guns you can buy right away

Steady Harpoon Gun (Roslit Bay)

The Steady Harpoon Gun sits near the docks in Roslit Bay, directly across from the Blacksmith. Head to GPS coordinates -1479, 133, 791 and you will find it leaning nearby. At C$9,000 with no unlock requirement, it is the natural first pick for trying the harpoon mechanic.

Fungal Harpoon Gun (Mushgrove Swamp)

Travel to Mushgrove Swamp and move toward the Alligator Swamp near the center of the island. Turn left there to reach the glowing weapon beside a tree at GPS 2658, 131, -835. It costs C$155,000. Its stats are low, but the slowed pull buttons make it forgiving for newer hunters.

Guns locked behind Bestiary progress

Frost Biter (Boreal Pines)

The Frost Biter is inside a cabin in Boreal Pines at GPS 21463, 234, 3922, resting on a table. You must complete 100% of the Boreal Pines Bestiary before you can buy it for C$270,000. Its high Velocity and 3.5s reload make it a strong mid-tier upgrade.

Great Dream Waker (Cursed Isle)

The Great Dream Waker appears on the Cursed Isle, which only spawns during Foggy, Autumn, or Summer nights. Once the island shows up, follow the map marker and go to the broken storage building at GPS 1871, 135, 1280.5. It requires 75% Cursed Isle Bestiary completion and costs C$1,500,000. Its 128-stud range is the longest of any Harpoon Gun.

Crystal Crasher (Crystal Cove)

Reaching the Crystal Crasher is the longest trip. Enter Vertigo, travel through The Depths, then find the cave entrance leading into Crystal Cove. The gun sits on a ledge beside a giant purple crystal at GPS 1352, -612, 2400. You need 100% Crystal Cove Bestiary completion, and it costs C$2,400,000, the highest price of any Harpoon Gun. Falling onto the crystals in this area can kill you, so approach the ledge carefully.

Trident Striker: unlock the Trident Vault

The Trident Striker is sold inside the Trident Vault beneath Desolate Deep, but the vault has to be opened first. You need at least one Harpoon Gun already in your bag to complete the ritual.

Head to Desolate Deep and dive down to the Trident Rod pedestal area, the same spot tied to the Trident Rod.
Equip a Harpoon Gun and shoot the five hidden glowing orange targets scattered around the room. Hitting all five makes the nearby pedestals start glowing.
Place three Enchant Relics on the pedestals. A new underground path opens up, and the stairs lead down to the Trident Vault where you can buy the Trident Striker for C$175,000.

You will know it worked when the passage unlocks and the vault becomes accessible. With a 50,000kg weight cap, this gun is the one to grab if you plan to hunt the biggest Roamers.

Relic Piercer: the crafted Harpoon Gun

The Relic Piercer is the only Harpoon Gun you build rather than buy. It is crafted at the Ancient Archives and carries a crafting value of C$175,000. Its 25 Power ties it for the highest in the group, and the piercing shot fills the pull meter quickly.

You need the following materials to craft it:

  • 3 Moonstones, which have a small chance to appear inside Meteors at Ancient Isle
  • 2 Scrap Metal, catchable anywhere in the Ocean with the Training Rod
  • 1 Meg’s Spine, obtained by fishing around Ancient Isle with the Training Rod or by using a Crab Cage

Once all three materials are in your inventory, head to the Ancient Archives and craft the Relic Piercer there.

If you are just starting with Roaming Fish, the Steady Harpoon Gun gets you into the mechanic cheaply, and the Frost Biter is an affordable step up once you clear the Boreal Pines Bestiary. For endgame hunting, the Trident Striker’s massive weight cap and the Relic Piercer’s high Power make them the two guns worth grinding toward, with the Crystal Crasher and Great Dream Waker close behind thanks to their fast reloads and unique passives.
