Pokémon GO LEGO Stores Event: Stamp Rally and Timed Research Rewards

Everything you get from the LEGO Store collaboration, including the free avatar jacket, promo codes, and a special-background Pikachu.

Everything you get from the LEGO Store collaboration, including the free avatar jacket, promo codes, and a special-background Pikachu.

Pokémon GO’s team-up with the LEGO Group turns select LEGO Stores into live event hubs, complete with a themed Stamp Rally, a store-only Timed Research quest, a daily Pikachu raid, and a set of collectible stickers. Everything hinges on physically visiting a participating store, so knowing what unlocks and how to claim it matters if you want the free rewards before they expire.

Quick answer: Visit a participating LEGO Store between August 3 and September 30, 2026, spin the store’s PokéStop to start the Stamp Rally, and open Pokémon GO on-site to auto-unlock the LEGO Collaboration Timed Research. Finish all five tasks and claim the rewards before September 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. local time to secure the 2026 LEGO Pokémon Jacket.

Event dates and participating countries

The in-store activities run from August 3 through September 30, 2026, starting at 10:00 a.m. local time on the first day. Only LEGO Stores in six countries take part, and not every store in those countries is included. Use the official store finder at lego.com/stores to confirm whether a location near you is hosting the event before you travel.

Note: Timing of the in-store SMART Play demo can vary by market, so a store may run that portion on a different schedule than the in-game features.

LEGO Collaboration Timed Research tasks and rewards

The store Timed Research appears automatically once you are in range of a participating LEGO Store and open the app. It is a single step with five tasks, each handing over three LEGO-themed stickers. Completing the full step delivers the headline avatar reward.

TaskReward
Explore 1 km3 × LEGO Pikachu Sticker
Spin 10 PokéStops or Gyms3 × LEGO Eevee Sticker
Catch 30 Pokémon3 × LEGO Venusaur Sticker
Hatch an Egg3 × LEGO Charizard Sticker
Win a Raid3 × LEGO Blastoise Sticker
Step completion1,000 XP, 1,000 Stardust, 2026 LEGO Pokémon Jacket

Because the quest includes Hatch an Egg and Win a Raid, it can take longer than a single store visit to finish. You do not need to stay at the store to complete the tasks, but you must claim every reward before the September 30 deadline. Once you claim the final reward, the 2026 LEGO Pokémon Jacket appears in your avatar wardrobe under owned items, which confirms the research completed successfully.

How the LEGO Stamp Rally works

Participating stores each host a designated PokéStop or Gym that hands out a stamp. A stamp icon floats above these locations on the map so you know which ones to spin, and it changes to a checkmark once you have collected that stamp.

Get close to a participating LEGO Store PokéStop. When you approach, the app automatically gives you the stamp sheet.
Spin the Photo Disc where the stamp icon shows. A circular stamp sheet appears on screen.
Press and hold the center of the circle to place the stamp. How long you hold changes the ink density, and the stamp cannot be re-stamped or adjusted afterward.
Watch for the stamp animation. Collecting your first stamp adds a new section to your Scrapbook, where you can review this rally and past ones. Each stamp also rewards an encounter with a Pikachu that has a LEGO-themed Special Background, marked with its own stamp icon so you know it is tied to the rally.

You can keep adding stamps by visiting more participating stores, and the rally stays open until September 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. local time.

LEGO-background Pikachu raid

Every participating store also gains a Gym running a one-star raid against Pikachu. It is easy enough to solo, and the reward is another chance at the Special Background — this one matching the Pikachu handed out at GO Fest 2026: Copenhagen earlier in the year.

DetailValue
Raid tierOne-star
BossPikachu (can be Shiny)
EvolutionCan evolve into Raichu
Daily limitOnce per day per Trainer
Availability10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time; local only, no Remote Raids

Because the raid only runs during store hours and cannot be joined remotely, you get exactly one shot at the LEGO-background Pikachu each day you visit. On the upside, the fixed daytime window means it is not affected by Raid Hours or other events.

Promo codes for the free cap, research, and items

Two promo codes are available to Trainers worldwide, so you can grab these even if you cannot reach a participating store. Redeem both on the Pokémon GO Web Store rather than inside the app.

CodeWhat you get
LEGOxPOKEMONGOxCAPBonus Timed Research: Explore 1 km (3 Pinap Berry), Spin 10 PokéStops or Gyms (3 Razz Berry), Catch 30 Pokémon (3 Nanab Berry); completion rewards 1,000 XP, 1,000 Stardust, and the 2026 LEGO Pokémon Cap
LEGOxPOKEMONGOxBERRIES5 Razz Berry, 10 Poké Ball, 5 Pinap Berry, 5 Nanab Berry

Enter the codes on the official redemption page to claim them. Once redeemed, the Bonus Timed Research shows up in your quest list, and the items land directly in your bag.

LEGO Pokémon SMART Play demo

Inside participating stores, in-store Trainer Centers host a LEGO Pokémon SMART Play demo showing off the SMART Brick functionality of the new sets. Taking part earns a unique collectible SMART Play Tag and a special stamp for your LEGO Passport. The tags are handed out while stocks last, and the start time for this demo may differ from the in-game features depending on your store, so check the store finder for local timing.

If your goal is the in-game rewards, prioritize starting the Timed Research and Stamp Rally on your first visit, then chip away at the Egg-hatch and raid tasks over the following days. Everything must be claimed before the September 30 cutoff, and once the event ends the store PokéStops, Gym raids, and quest disappear until any future collaboration.
