Adopt Me: How to Get the Violet Friend Pet

Reach tier 13 on the Bee Pass or hatch a Crystal Egg to add this limited Rare pet to your collection.

Reach tier 13 on the Bee Pass or hatch a Crystal Egg to add this limited Rare pet to your collection.

The Bee Pass update dropped into Adopt Me on July 24, 2026, and it brought a fresh flower-farming activity along with two new pets. One of them is the Violet Friend, a limited Rare-tier companion shaped like a deep purple bloom with petal limbs, green stems, and bell-shaped flowers. If you want it, there are exactly two ways in, and both close once the event ends.

Quick answer: Reach tier 13 by completing the Bee Pass, or hatch a Crystal Egg for a 7.14% chance at the Violet Friend.

What the Violet Friend is

The Violet Friend is a limited-time, Rare pet tied to the Bee Pass event. Its body is a deep purple flower with large black eyes, green stems capped by purple bell-shaped blooms, and small petal-like limbs. Because it is limited, the two obtainment paths stop working after the event wraps, so anything you want to build from it needs to happen while the pass is live.

Collecting extra copies opens up two upgraded looks. The math is standard Adopt Me merging, so plan your hatches accordingly.

Get the Violet Friend from the Bee Pass

The guaranteed route is the Bee Pass itself. You climb to tier 13 by growing flowers and filling vases, which awards the pet outright. The whole loop runs through Joni, the event NPC at the center of Adoption Island.

Head to the event hub in the middle of Adoption Island and talk to the Joni NPC. Open its shop to buy seeds, which are the raw material for every vase you complete.

Joni stocks six seed types at different Bucks prices. Any of them works toward the vases, so pick based on what you can afford.

SeedCost
Rose Seed25 Bucks
Iris Seed35 Bucks
Bluebell Seed45 Bucks
Daisy Seed55 Bucks
Poppy Seed65 Bucks
Fern Seed75 Bucks
Plant your seeds in the pits scattered around Adoption Island. Look for dancing bees, which mark every planting spot.

The pits sit in several fixed spots, so you can loop between them as flowers grow:

  • Near the event hub
  • Behind the hospital
  • At both ends of the playground
  • Opposite the accessory shop
  • Near the red cable bridge
  • In front of the pet shop
  • Beside the trees just past the concrete bridge next to the Pet Shop
Wait for each seed to grow into a flower, then harvest it and place it in the vases at the event hub. Finishing one bouquet gives you 50 pass XP, and completing all six vases once nets 300 XP. Keep filling vases until your XP pushes you to tier 13, at which point the Violet Friend is yours.

Hatch the Violet Friend from a Crystal Egg

If you want more than the single copy the pass hands out, the Crystal Egg is the way to farm duplicates. Each hatch carries a 7.14% chance of producing a Violet Friend. This is the only realistic path to the four copies a Neon needs or the sixteen a Mega Neon demands, so start hatching early while the egg is available.

Note: because both methods are event-locked, the Crystal Egg pool dries up when the Bee Pass closes. Bank the copies you need before then, since the fully-grown supply you would use to rebuild a Neon disappears once the event is over.

How to confirm you unlocked it

You know the Bee Pass route worked when the pass advances to tier 13 and the Violet Friend appears in your inventory. From the Crystal Egg, the pet shows up right after the hatch animation resolves. Once you have four fully-grown copies you can merge for the Neon, and stacking that to sixteen fully-grown copies produces the Mega Neon with its rainbow glow.

The most common reason the pass stalls is simply running low on Bucks for seeds, so keep a steady supply coming in as you plant, harvest, and refill vases toward tier 13.
