The Strawberry Tortle is a Legendary pet in Adopt Me. It arrived on August 21, 2026 with the Backpack Storage & Releaser Refresh update. There is no direct buy button on the pet. You hatch it from an egg, or you take it in a trade.

Quick answer: Buy a Crystal Egg for 4,000 Pet Releaser Tickets or a Basic Egg for 400 Tickets at Jane’s shop, then hatch it. The Crystal Egg has a 0.1% chance. The Basic Egg has a 0.01% chance. A trade with another player also works.

Strawberry Tortle egg prices at Jane’s shop

Jane’s shop is the only place that sells the two eggs that can produce this pet. Both eggs cost Pet Releaser Tickets, not a cash price on the companion itself. Tickets come from the Releaser. You feed the Releaser pets you are willing to lose, and the game pays you in Tickets.

Note: A release is permanent. Do not send a pet you still want for aging, collecting, or trading.

Take leftover pets to the Releaser and place them in the release window. Confirm only after you are sure you can lose those pets. Tickets are added once the release finishes.

Open Jane’s shop and buy the egg you can afford. A Basic Egg costs 400 Tickets. A Crystal Egg costs 4,000 Tickets.
Hatch the egg. The Strawberry Tortle is one Legendary result in that roll. It is not a guaranteed drop from either egg.
Open your inventory and look for the frosting turtle. If the hatch missed, the pet will not be there. Buy and hatch another egg, or start a trade.

Strawberry Tortle hatch rates

Both eggs can roll the same Legendary pet. The Crystal Egg is the stronger ticket spend if the Tortle is the only target. Its listed chance is ten times the Basic Egg rate.

EggTicket priceHatch chanceOdds
Basic Egg4000.01%1 in 10,000
Crystal Egg4,0000.1%1 in 1,000

A miss is the normal result. Nothing in the shop converts a failed hatch into a Strawberry Tortle. The next chance is another egg or a trade.

Strawberry Tortle appearance

The pet is built like a small turtle finished as a strawberry dessert. Pale frosting covers the body. Red strawberries sit on the shell and along the sides. The head is large and coated in red-and-white frosting, and a strawberry sits on top of the shell.

That look is how you confirm the hatch. If the companion in your inventory matches that frosting-and-strawberry turtle, you have a Strawberry Tortle. If it does not, the egg produced something else.

Neon Strawberry Tortle and Mega Neon requirements

Extra copies unlock the glowing versions. Four Strawberry Tortles unlock Neon. Sixteen unlock Mega Neon. The glow is the check that the fusion worked.

FormCopies neededWhat changes
Neon4Pink glow on the center of the shell and head, between the shell plates, on the strawberry seeds and leaves, and on the feet
Mega Neon16The same spots glow, but the color cycles through the rainbow

A regular Strawberry Tortle has no pink glow and no rainbow cycle. If those lights are missing after you try to make Neon or Mega Neon, you still do not have enough copies.

Strawberry Tortle tricks by age

The pet learns one new trick at each growth stage. The trick list is a clean way to confirm age without guessing from size alone.

AgeTrick
NewbornSit
JuniorJoyful
Pre-TeenBeg
TeenJump
Post-TeenTrick 1
Full GrownTrick 2

A Newborn only sits. A Full Grown Strawberry Tortle can perform Trick 2. If the trick you expect is missing, the pet has not reached that age yet.

Trading for Strawberry Tortle

Trading is the other legal path. You can offer pets, accessories, or items to another player and receive a Strawberry Tortle if both sides accept. This skips the egg roll entirely.

The inventory entry is the same check as a hatch. After the trade window closes, look for the frosting turtle. If it is not in your inventory, the trade did not include that pet.

A Strawberry Tortle only appears after a successful hatch or an accepted trade. Failed eggs do not convert later. If you still need one, return to Jane’s shop for another Basic Egg or Crystal Egg, or open a new trade.
