Flight unlocks early in Aion 2, during the Ascension part of the opening story, and it quickly becomes the fastest way to cross the map outside of teleporting. The catch is Flight Power, a stamina gauge that drains while your wings are out and refills slowly once you land. Raising that gauge and spending it carefully are the two things that keep you in the air for longer.
Quick answer: Collect more Wings, since Flight Power is an Owned Effect that applies just for having them in your inventory. Then conserve each charge with Wind Serum, recovery rings, and the glide momentum tech.

How Flight Power works
Flight Power is the character stat that sets how long you can stay in full flight. The gauge drops while your wings are deployed, and if it empties in mid-air your character falls, so you want enough in reserve before crossing an open gap. A higher maximum means more time aloft before you have to land, glide, or top it back up.
Every pair of Wings carries two kinds of bonus. An Equipped Effect only counts while that pair is worn and disappears the moment you swap it out. An Owned Effect stays active just because the item sits in your collection. Flight Power is only ever an Owned Effect, which is why your gauge grows as your Wing collection grows, regardless of which pair you actually fly with.
You can read your current total in the Wings tab, opened with Alt + C. Look under the “All Applied Effects” view in the “All Owned Effects” section. The number there is your combined Flight Power from every Wing you own.
Flight Power is not the same as Flight Speed. Some titles, such as Professional Extractor and Cogni Executioner, grant Flight Speed, which changes how fast you move rather than how long you can stay up.

Add to Google Preferences →Collect more Wings to raise your flight gauge
Collecting Wings is the one reliable way to permanently increase Flight Power. Because the bonus is an Owned Effect, you do not need to equip a pair to benefit from it. You can keep flying with the Wings you like for their looks or combat stats while every other pair you own still adds to your total. There are 28 obtainable Wings in the game, and each one lists its appearance, source, and applied effects in the Wings tab.
Different Wings grant different amounts of Flight Power, so check the Owned Effect whenever you pick up a new pair. The quickest early gains come from the story itself. You unlock Intermediate, Superior, and Ultimate Daeva Wings as you complete the Ascension main-story quests while leveling, so grab each tier as soon as it becomes available.
The Wings from the Founder’s Packs do not grant any Flight Power. Treat those as cosmetic and keep collecting functional pairs for the gauge.

Enhance Wings to push Flight Power further
Beyond simply owning more pairs, you can upgrade Wings through the Wings menu to scale their stats, including maximum Flight Power. Enhancing takes Kinah for the base cost and Enhancement Stones gathered from party dungeons, seasonal events, and event coins.
| Level range | Success rate | Risk |
|---|---|---|
| +1 to +10 | 100% guaranteed | No break, no downgrade; materials refundable on extraction |
| Beyond +10 | Chance-based | No break or level loss; each failure raises the next success rate |
Because every step up to +10 succeeds and carries no risk of breaking the item, you can safely spend Enhancement Stones as soon as you have them. If you later replace a pair, extracting it returns your materials.
Restore Flight Power while you fly
Raising your maximum gauge is only half the picture. On long routes you can also refill or stretch the charge you already have, which matters when a single crossing would otherwise drain you dry.
- Wind Serum refills Flight Power on the go and can be crafted through Alchemy once you unlock the recipe.
- Flight Power recovery rings scattered around the world top up the gauge when you pass through them.
- Wind Paths carry you through the air automatically, and Updrafts launch you upward, both saving stamina.
- Gliding with Space keeps forward momentum while you gradually descend instead of burning full flight.
In the Abyss, flight drains at half the normal rate, so the same gauge carries you roughly twice as far there.

Use the flight momentum tech to travel farther per charge
A movement trick lets you cover more ground for the same Flight Power by riding leftover momentum between flight toggles. It takes a little timing, so practice it over open, forgiving terrain before relying on it near a dangerous drop.

How to confirm your Flight Power went up
After adding a Wing or enhancing one, reopen the Wings tab with Alt + C and check the Flight Power value under “All Owned Effects.” A higher number there confirms the gauge grew, and you should notice a longer flight bar before your character begins to drop. If the figure did not change after picking up a pair, that pair most likely grants no Flight Power, which is the case for the Founder’s Pack and purely cosmetic Wings.
