The Nightmare Trade Shop is where the Phantasmal Fragments you earn from AION 2’s solo boss ladder actually turn into power. It sits in the Trade Shop tab of the Nightmare window and splits into five categories: Consumables, Growth, Wings, Skins, and Statue. Everything inside is paid for with the one currency, and each faction sees its own list of the same offers.

Quick answer: The shop sells growth materials, consumables, two wings, two armor skin sets with accessory skins, and boss statues, all priced in Phantasmal Fragments. Spend first on Daevanion Crystals (300) and Stigma Shards (1,500).

How you pay: Phantasmal Fragments

Phantasmal Fragments drop from clearing Nightmare bosses. You get two attempts a day, stored up to 14, and an attempt is only spent when you actually beat the fight, so wipes cost nothing. Each boss has ten challenge levels, and the first time you clear a level pays far more than repeating it. An opening boss pays 500 fragments on its first level-1 clear and 100 for a repeat.

Push new challenge levels instead of farming easy repeats. Every new level pays its full first-clear reward exactly once, and since only a win burns an attempt, a failed pull loses you nothing.

Growth items (buy these first)

These three are the most direct boost to your Combat Power and Gear Score, and they cost a fraction of the wings and skins. Daevanion Crystals are the cheapest permanent upgrade in the shop, which makes them the easy first buy.

ItemPriceLimit
Daevanion Crystal (Bound)30050 per character
Stigma Shard (Bound)1,50035 per character
Clash Rune Chest (Bound)500No limit

Each Daevanion Crystal grants one Daevanion Point for filling your boards. Each Stigma Shard grants one Stigma Shard Point toward your Stigma skills. The Clash Rune Chest contains one Clash Rune plus nine Clash Rune Enhance Scrolls bound to it; with extra chests, the scrolls are the real value, since every enhancement level needs one. Skip more chests once you already have runes upgraded past +3.

Consumables

The consumables tab feeds gear enhancement. These can all be earned through other activities, so they sit low on the priority list unless one is blocking a specific upgrade right now.

ItemPriceLimit
Amplify Stone Fragment (Unique) (Bound)500No limit
Soul Codex (Bound) ×54005 per character, weekly
Soul Codex: Reset (Bound)8,0003 per character, weekly

Amplify Stone Fragments convert into an Amplify Stone for your gear through Substance Morph. The Soul Codex raises the binding rate on gear that is already Soul Bound, and the Reset version undoes a Soul Binding. The two Soul Codex offers are the only consumables with a weekly cap.

Wings

Both wings are one-time character purchases that carry equipped and owned effects, so even stacking them with other wings you own adds to your stats.

ItemPriceLimit
Conqueror Wings (Bound)20,0001 per character
Nightmare Wings (Bound)160,0001 per character

Nightmare Wings are the single most expensive item in the shop at 160,000 Phantasmal Fragments, which makes them a long-term goal rather than an early buy. Their equipped effect gives Boss Damage Boost 3.5%, Attack Bonus 60, Critical Hit 35, and Accuracy Bonus 35. The owned effect adds Flight Power 200, Boss Attack 20, Boss Defense 300, and PvE Damage Boost 1.00%.

Skins

Skins raise your stats based on how many you own, but they are the costliest tier in the shop. Two full armor sets are on sale, Awakened and Eternal Horn, each with seven pieces totalling 49,650 Phantasmal Fragments. The per-piece prices are identical across both sets, and each piece is a one-time purchase.

Armor piecePrice
Breastplate10,800
Greaves8,000
Helm6,750
Pauldron6,750
Boots6,750
Gloves5,300
Cloak5,300

Four accessory skins round out the tab. Ancient Barrier covers an earring and a necklace, and Sky Recollection does the same.

Accessory skinPrice
Ancient Barrier: Earrings5,300
Ancient Barrier: Necklace6,750
Sky Recollection: Earrings5,300
Sky Recollection: Necklace6,750

You can preview any skin or wing with the eye icon on its shop card before committing fragments. Leave skins until you have cleared the growth items and wings you want, since the stat gain per fragment is weaker here.

Statues for the Pantheon

The Statue tab holds boss trophies that give stats when placed in your Pantheon. You cannot display every one, so the sensible target is the Colossus plus a handful of the higher-rarity statues rather than the whole set.

  • Colossus: Zikel’s Apparition — 14,000 (unlocks after beating Zikel’s Apparition)
  • Statue: Fortress Guardian Notun
  • Statue: Gerod
  • Statue: Gatekeeper Pinopi
  • Statue: Furious Feruk
  • Statue: Fafnir’s Poison Blood
  • Statue: Wraith Giselle

For Pantheon value, the practical goal is the Colossus plus two Epic and two Rare statues, which fills five Pantheon decoration slots for a meaningful stat boost. The rest can be skipped.

Purchase limits and buying order

Most offers carry a cap, and the type of cap matters when you plan your spending. Stigma Shards stop at 35 per character and Daevanion Crystals at 50 per character, with no weekly reset on either, so you are working toward a fixed total. The two Soul Codex offers reset weekly. The Clash Rune Chest and Amplify Stone Fragment show no limit, and wings and every skin piece are one-time character buys.

Spend in rough order of value: Daevanion Crystals and Stigma Shards first for the direct Combat Power and Gear Score gain, then the five Pantheon statues, then the wings for their owned effects, and skins last. You will know a growth purchase landed when your Combat Power or Gear Score ticks up after using the crystal or shard. The in-game shop card shows your running count against each cap, so check it before a reset to avoid leaving fragments idle or hitting a wall you did not expect.
