For Abyss, Arena, and Battlefield activity, turn to AION 2’s PvP Trade Shop. Purchases cost Abyss Points and Silver Medals of Merit; earn both by defeating monsters or players there in the Abyss, and by battling in the Arena and Battlefield. Its offerings fall into five groups: consumables, growth materials, skins, wings, and medals.

Quick answer: Spend Abyss Points first on Lesser Abyssal Manastones and Soulstones and the growth items (Azphel crystals, Stigma Shards, the amulet stone, and the Potential Stone: Abyss), then save the rest for skins and wings once those are bought out.

How you pay: Abyss Points and Silver Medals of Merit

Two currencies run this shop. Abyss Points cover nearly every listing, while Silver Medals of Merit act as a second currency used mainly toward skins. You pick both up from PvP activity, so the shop fills up naturally as you play the Abyss, the Arena, and the Battlefield.

To enter the Abyss and start earning in the first place, your character needs to be level 45 with an item level of 1,000.

Consumables: brews, stones, and a Theostone chest

The consumables tab holds recovery brews, a chest that rolls for a rare Theostone, and the two stones that add stats to your gear. The Lesser Abyssal Manastone engraves onto weapon and armor Manastone slots, and the Lesser Abyssal Soulstone engraves onto accessory Soulstone slots. In both cases the stat type and value are random, and both feed directly into your Gear Score.

Clear the weekly 50-count cap on both the Manastone and Soulstone each week. They are the cheapest reliable way to push Gear Score, and the limit resets.

Growth materials for Combat Power and Gear Score

The growth tab is where the heaviest stat gains sit. It carries a limited run of Azphel Daevanion Crystals, a stock of Stigma Shards, the enhance stone for your PvP amulet, and the Potential Stone: Abyss for gear enhancement. These do the most for Combat Power, which is why they come first before any cosmetic purchase.

Potential Stone: Abyss (Unique) (Bound)From 25,000 Abyss PointsTiered (see below)

The Potential Stone: Abyss is sold in a four-step ladder. Each step unlocks the next, and the price climbs as you go. You know a tier is finished when the counter next to it reads its maximum and the following step becomes available to buy.

Skins: Decanus and Centurion sets

The shop carries two full cosmetic sets, and both add stats on top of their appearance, so they are not purely decorative. They are expensive, which is why they are worth leaving until after you have cleared the growth items and wings. The sets cover every gear slot from breastplate down to earrings.

  • Decanus set: Breastplate, Greaves, Helm, Pauldron, Gloves, Boots, Cloak, Necklace, Earrings
  • Centurion set: Breastplate, Greaves, Helm, Pauldron, Gloves, Boots, Cloak, Necklace, Earrings

Silver Medals of Merit come into play here, since the medals double as a currency toward these pieces.

Wings: Warrior and Brawler

Two sets of wings are stocked, and each grants an owned effect that raises Combat Power even when they are not equipped as your active appearance. They cost a lot, but the stat gain makes them worth taking.

  • Warrior Wings
  • Brawler Wings

Silver Medal of Merit in the medal tab

The medal tab sells the Silver Medal of Merit. Because it functions as a currency for the skins, it sits in the shop as something you can buy, but you can skip it. Medals already drop freely from the Abyss and the Arena, so paying Abyss Points for them is rarely the better trade.

Where to put your Abyss Points first

Run the weekly resets before anything else. Buy out the 50 Lesser Abyssal Manastones and 50 Lesser Abyssal Soulstones each week, then clear the growth stock, since the Azphel crystals, Stigma Shards, the amulet enhance scroll, and the Potential Stone steps give the sharpest Combat Power and Gear Score gains. Skins and wings come last, once the stat items are gone, because of their high price. You can confirm a purchase went through when the item lands in your inventory and the listing’s counter ticks up toward its cap.
