The Special tab in AION 2’s Substance Morph menu turns spare materials, Kina and Abyss medals into consumables. It covers transformation candies, Kina Chests, Odyle Energy, Enhance Stones, Power Shards, Merit Chests, Silver Medals and a couple of merchant items. Each recipe takes a fixed list of inputs and gives a fixed result, so the only real question is what each one costs.
Quick answer: Open Substance Morph, select the Special category, and pick a recipe. Every cost below is fixed. Odyle Energy is the only recipe with weekly limits.
Transformation Candy recipes
There are five Transformation Candy recipes, and they all follow one pattern. Each takes one creature Essence and 3 Odyle.

Every Essence is sold by merchants for 10,000 Kina. They are all Common, bound, and stack to 1,000. You can’t trade them, and a merchant only pays 100 Kina if you sell one back. Buy them when you plan to craft, not before.
Kina Chest recipes and the 10 percent fee
Each Kina Chest costs 10 percent more Kina than it holds. The fee is the same for all three sizes.

Players pay the fee because the chests separate Gold Kina from bound Kina. That lets you trade the result on the market for Quna Crystals. Since the fee is a flat percentage, a large chest costs no more per Kina than a small one.
Odyle Energy recipe and weekly limits
One Odyle Energy needs four inputs at once:
- Odyle x25
- Fine Odyle x5
- Pure Odyle x1
- Kina x50,000
Odyle Energy opens Reward Cubes from Expeditions and Transcendence. Each extra unit is another reward roll from those runs.
Each character can make 4 per week, and each server is capped at 16 per week. Both limits reset every Wednesday at 7 AM UTC.
Enhance Stone and Power Shard recipes
Five recipes produce gear materials. Two give Enhance Stones, and three give Power Shards of increasing grade.

The 10,000 Enhance Stone recipe accepts any one of six sealed wings: Sealed Black Fragment Wings, Sealed Blue Wave Wings, Sealed Ancient Aullaeu Wings, Sealed Forest Spirit Wings, Sealed Kromede Wings or Sealed Dark Veil Wings. Use whichever one you have.
The Clash Rune Enhance Scroll recipe is useful for players who build up a pile of those scrolls. Clash Runes can break, so many players keep extra scrolls on hand.
For Power Shards, the Empyrean Trace depends on your faction. Asmodians use Empyrean Trace: Altgard, and Elyos use Empyrean Trace: Verteron. Superior and Abyssal Power Shards both use regular Power Shards as their main input, so you need the basic shards first.
Merit Chest recipes from Proof of Hero medals
Merit Chests cost Proof of Hero medals, which only drop from Field Bosses in the Abyss. Each chest family uses its own medal. Higher chest grades cost more medals.

Pricing differs by family. A Unique Nahma chest costs 10 medals, while Unique Dimensional and Argo chests cost 5. Kaira chests have no Unique tier. Their grades run Common, Rare and Epic, with Epic costing 5 medals.
Silver Medal of Merit recipes
The same tab has two Silver Medal of Merit recipes. Both use Silver Fragment of Merit plus Kina at the same ratio. The 100 percent version costs exactly ten times the 10 percent version.

Wind Breeze Merchant recipes
The Wind Breeze Merchant group has two recipes, and both cost only Kina. A Soul Crystal costs 500 Kina. An Instant Clear Ticket: Daily Dungeon costs 30,000 Kina.
Neither recipe needs any materials, so these are the easiest crafts in the tab. The Instant Clear Ticket lets you skip a Daily Dungeon run.
