Chaotic Lower Reshanta is the Abyss’s starting layer, an open-world PvP region where Elyos and Asmodian players occupy the same floating islands and may attack each other on sight. You earn most of your Abyss Points here, then spend them on the PvP upgrades that matter once your gear is set. The zone follows a repeatable cycle: take a hunting quest, defeat its listed mobs, collect feathers, and turn in both to gain permanent PvP stats.
Quick answer: Hit Character Level 45 and Item Level 1,000, teleport to Latesran Western Root, buy a Command Scroll from the Command Merchant, clear its hunt for 1,000 Abyss Points, and turn Empyrean Traces in at the Ereshkigal Monolith.
Requirements to enter Chaotic Lower Reshanta
Two gates stand between you and the zone. The Abyss itself opens at Character Level 45, and the Latesran faction bases in Lower Reshanta will not let you in until you reach Item Level 1,000. Both numbers show on the entry panel before you teleport, so check them there first.
Use the right-hand menu panel or the Escape menu to open the Abyss. Confirm that both requirements are met, then teleport to Latesran Western Root. The factions have bases in opposite corners of the map, and each camp has a single Kibelisk for travel within it.
Swap your Stigmas and shop while you are still in town. Your weekly Abyss time only counts down while you are physically inside the layer, so enter with a goal already set.

The fastest steady income in the zone is the Command Scroll quest. Each scroll hands you a mob hunt in a named area and pays 1,000 Abyss Points when you finish it.

Lower Reshanta carries 27 distinct Duty scroll tasks, recommended around levels 46 to 49, and each also drops a batch of Abyssal Power Shards on top of the points. Repeat this while gathering feathers across the same islands.
Empyrean Traces and the Ereshkigal Monolith
White feather icons scattered across the floating islands are Empyrean Traces, and Chaotic Lower Reshanta holds 200 of them. Pick them up as you move between quest areas, then bring them back to the Ereshkigal Monolith at your base.
Turning traces in raises the Monolith’s resonance level, which permanently lifts your base PvP stats: PvP Attack, PvP Defense, PvP Accuracy, PvP Evasion, and PvP Block. Each resonance step also awards a Daevanion Crystal: Azphel, a bound item that grants one Azphel Daevanion Point when used. These buffs are tracked separately from the other regions’ feathers, so Lower Reshanta’s traces only count toward Lower Reshanta’s resonance.

Spending points on the Azphel board
Daevanion Crystal: Azphel converts into points for the Azphel board, the dedicated PvP board among the Daevanion set (the others are Nezekan, Zikel, Vaizel, and Triniel). Its nodes feed straight into PvP values such as PvP Damage Boost, PvP Critical Hit, PvP Accuracy, and PvP Evasion.

The Azphel board requires Level 45 and uses 152 nodes in total. Fully completing it costs 232 points and delivers a fixed block of PvP stats, listed below.
| Azphel board figure | Value |
|---|---|
| Total nodes | 152 |
| Points to complete | 232 |
| Reset cost per node | 500 Kinah |
| HP / MP | 400 / 200 |
| PvP Defense | 720 |
| PvP Accuracy | 120 |
| PvP Critical Hit | 120 |
| PvP Damage Boost | 6% |
Where to spend Abyss Points
The Abyss Trade Shop is where your points turn into power. Stigma Shards are the priority buy, since they unlock and level higher Stigma skills that carry into both PvP and PvE. Each costs 10,000 Abyss Points, the same price as an Azphel crystal from the shop.

| Trade Shop item | Cost (Abyss Points) |
|---|---|
| Stigma Shard (Bound) | 10,000 |
| 10,000 | |
| Fierce Battle Amulet Enhancement Scroll | 10,000 |
| Silver Medal of Merit | 10,000 |
| Potential Stone: Abyss (Unique) | 25,000 |
| Rare Theostone Selection Chest | 35,000 |
| 200,000 | |
| 800,000 |
Consumables sit at the bottom of the list, with Life Brew and Wind Brew at 500 points each, Lesser Abyssal Manastone at 1,000, and Lesser Abyssal Soulstone at 2,000.
Field boss spawn windows in Lower Reshanta
The named Abyss bosses are Level 65 Hero-rank targets that drop the best gear in the zone, and they spawn on fixed weekly windows in server time. They are heavily contested, so expect the opposing faction to show up for the same kill. Every one guarantees a Refining Stone, Expert’s Refining Stone, and Artisan’s Refining Stone, and each has a 25% chance to drop its own Artwork collectible.
| Boss | Area | Level | Spawn (server time) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reshanta’s Root | 65 | Sun, Fri at 21:00 | |
| Reshanta’s Root | 65 | Mon, Thu, Sat at 21:30 | |
| Sulfur Tree Island | 65 | Mon, Thu, Sat at 21:30 | |
| Archipelago of Siel’s Wings | 65 | Mon, Thu, Sat at 21:30 |
Executor Kaira stands out for its drop of Balaur’s Essence at a 43.4% chance, a rate shared with Watcher Kaira. The Executor trio spawns 30 minutes after the Monday, Thursday, and Saturday siege begins at 21:00, which makes those three nights the busiest stretch in the Abyss. Guardian Lord Nahma also appears at Shade Island and Lonely Island on its Sunday and Friday window.
Artifact Sieges and the Abyss Corridor
The Artifact Siege is the scheduled PvP event that drives control of the layer. Lower Reshanta runs its siege on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday at 21:00 server time. The three Artifacts sit at Reshanta’s Root, Branding Island on Sulfur Tree Island, and the Grave of Steel in the Archipelago of Siel’s Wings.
When a siege begins, Dimensional Cores appear at each Artifact. The faction that lands the final hit on a Core claims that Artifact, and a set number of contributors on the winning side are paid Abyss Points. Holding Artifacts grants a faction-wide Abyss Point buff, worth +2.5% for one, +5% for two, and +7.5% for all three.
When the siege ends, an Abyss Corridor opens at each held Artifact for the controlling faction, with a five-minute window to enter and farm. These corridors double as contested fast-travel points, and they stay exclusive to the holding faction until the next siege begins.
Flight and staying alive
Lower Reshanta is the flying layer, with 49 Flight Circles strung between its islands. Passing through these airborne rings restores flight stamina and gives a speed boost, which is how you cross the zone without dropping out of the sky mid-journey.

Hostile players can attack anywhere, so use flight cancellation to escape: enter a free-fall to lose altitude quickly, then press V to fly again, change position, and get away from anyone pursuing you. Remember this on siege nights, when the islands near the Executors are especially crowded.
Field boss gear drops and Watcher Kaira’s spawn cycle
Watcher Kaira is a Level 65 Hero-rank boss that does not follow the weekly siege nights. It spawns every 180 minutes starting at 01:00 server time, every day, and appears in the Archipelago of Siel’s Wings, Black Fragments Area, Devastated Remnants, and Sulfur Tree Island. It shares Executor Kaira’s drop list. Guardian Lord Nahma is also placed in Reshanta’s Root, Devastated Remnants, and Black Fragments Area.
| Boss | Type | Gear and collectibles beyond the stones |
|---|---|---|
| Guardian Lord Nahma | Cogni | Colossus: Guardian Lord Nahma (25%), Fallen Ancient God Gloves and Boots (Unique), Bloodthirsty Gloves, Boots, Cloak |
| Executor Tamasa | Cogni | Bloodthirsty Gloves, Boots, Cloak, Helm, Pauldrons, Greaves |
| Executor Kaira / Watcher Kaira | Cogni | Kaira Gloves and Kaira Boots (12.9% each), Bloodthirsty Gloves, Boots, Cloak (14.1% each) |
| Executor Argo | Natura | Argo Gloves (12.9%), Bloodthirsty Gloves, Boots, Cloak, Helm, Pauldrons |
All five bosses also roll Earth (Common) and Vagabond (Rare) equipment, and Tamasa, Argo, Kaira, and Nahma add Vowed (Epic) weapons. Armor rates are the same on every boss, and the weapon rates vary slightly.
| Earth / Vagabond slot | Drop chance |
|---|---|
| Gloves, Boots, Cloak | 17.3% |
| Helm, Pauldrons | 13.9% |
| Greaves | 11.6% |
| Breastplate | 8.7% |
| Weapons and Guard | 11.1% (Vagabond weapons from Kaira: 9.0%) |
Vowed weapons drop at 8.8% from Executor Tamasa and Executor Argo, including a Vowed Bow, and at 3.6% from the Kaira bosses, which makes them the hardest weapons to land.
